“refund disaster X2 ”

I have been a loyal customer of Oasis and love their clothes. I moved to Australia from UK and saw andotherbrands. I have used them a few times but a year ago I returned a few sale items only to never have receive an refund. I wrote a few emails to customer service but as I hadn't keept the tracking number I had no grounds/ evidence to seek my refund. I recently 2 months ago decided to try oasis again through andotherbrands but this time I really messed up by mistakingly forgetting to track the item and as i realised my error I did naively think to myself is not going to happen a second time..... of course it did! $160 disappeared, no items to show for this! I have obviously contacted customer service who were polite but completely unhelpful. I would like to stress I love their clothes but this has been a lesson of loytly to a brand doesn't equal good customer services. Please if you have to buy online with them ONLY ever track a return and be warned you still may not get your money back! Sad but true!

I am the writer of the above however since writing this review I was offered a full refund. I'm must say I am surprised and very happy that on this occasion i was listen to by their customer service and was provided a refund. Good job andotherbrands! THANK YOU!

“On line returns”

I ordered goods online - returned 3 items in same package - had 2 send 2 emails as no refund received - then got a refund for 1 item - still £70 short - sent 2 more emails - no response -had to ring a shop as no contact number on website - terrible service

“DON'T ORDER IF YOU LIVE IN THE U.S”

I ordered a $120 dress from them a little over 2 months ago and never got it. I received an email a week after ordering it that said it was being shipped but I noticed that my address wasn't complete, all they had was my house number and not the street address. I contacted costumer service immediately and they just blew it off saying they should still be able to delivery it, but that's not true. And, as I suspected, the U.S postal office returned it back to the UK. I should also mention that OASIS made ME contact the U.S postal office about my package... when it was their fault. So then I told them my package was being returned and they said it'll take up to 20 days for them to get it back. Well it's been 30 days and they still said they haven't received it. So I just asked for a refund and I have yet to get a response. I'm so disappointed because their clothes are very cute, but I will never order from them again.

“Poor Customer Service”

Was waiting to pay for an item I wished to purchase, waited for over 5mins while the one member of staff on floor was tidying up rails, i gave up left item on counter and walked out shop. I turned round to see the assistant grab the jumper off counter shake her head and draw me a look. Will not be shopping there again.

“Don't use andotherbrands.com”

I am a big fan of Oasis clothes having worn them almost religiously for years. I moved to the US and in dire need of some new clothes, not knowing where to start with US brands, I decided to place an order. As it would be an international delivery, it had to be placed via Andotherbrands.com. I have a newborn and toddler. My spare time is precious. It took me over an hour to pick out the items and place an order for thirteen items that came to over $700. All seemed to go swimmingly well until a week later I received an email stating that ALL of the items were out of stock. I could understand if this happened with one or two items, but THIRTEEN?! Surely a mistake? I queried whether there was some error with customer service as this seemed unbelievable and their generic scripted reply was 'our system sometimes takes a while to update'. It was true! All thirteen new season items were out of stock. Why on earth are they wasting people's time? Such a disorganized way in which to run a business. Surely it should have prevented me from adding those items to cart? I also saw that it was still possible to 'purchase' those items so some other poor unsuspecting soul would be in the same boat as me. a company that has no consideration for their customer's time doesn't deserve my money! I won't be shopping with them again, that's for sure. I'll also add that Americans will not put up with such bad customer service so they'll need all the luck in the world to expand to stateside if that is part of their long term goals! (I know, first world problems and all that, but still, a totally unsatisfactory experience attempting to shop with them!)

“If you want to loose money order at oasis”

I ordere some clothes online and sent them back because they haven't fit. Im used to onlines Shops whoy say Your order arrived or at least a customer Service who help. Here is none of that. I ordered from Germany and sent the return within 14 days. I have the proof that the order arrived in the german postage center who send it to England. Now, after 1 month I still got no money back, no answer, only mails written for everyone. Its more than 100 Euro and i really feel being stolen. The best Thing is that the PayPal customer adress didnt answer, the English phone number does not work and they even have the whole site in german but you get english model answers. No I'm writing a letter(!) to them. Ridiculous, will never order something again.

update: i got my Money back now after i've written a letter with return receipt and that i would would proceed further steps by my lawyer. i got the money back after 1 month that my return arrived.

Find it fantastic how if the item is out of stock or only in the less popular larger sizes they will still search the country to get the product to you from a store that has it!! Excellent sale prices for such good quality! Would recommend purchasing online from oasis over many other retail stores which never seem to have smaller sizes in stock!!

Oasis is by far the best company I have ever ordered from. If they've run out of stock online they'll search every store in the UK to find your product and send it out within 24 hours which is absolutely brilliant! Plus they have refunded my postage before which I've never found with any other online clothes shop. All clothes are too high quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

“Disaster Return Service”

I ordered a coat nearly two months ago, it arrived and the size was off. I am a regular shopper on ASOS, Misguided and TopShop and have returned items many times from the US. Never ever had a problem. So I was shocked to hear that Oasis have a 20 day processing window and they do not 'track' packages that are being returned. I learned this right after my package had been popped in the mail. So now my 150 dollar coat return is lost somewhere in between Dallas and their UK warehouse. Everytime I contact them I am told to 'wait'. This is a complete joke. I would have enjoyed flushing my $150 down the toilet more than I have enjoyed this experience. Be warned their logistics program is not reliable. I would never risk shopping with them again.

“Just don't deliver”

Repeatedly try to order 'in stock' items that get cancelled as they are 'not in stock' (although if you order from a third party such as Debenhams they can get it sent to you directly from the Oasis warehouse) despite going through the same ordering process as with any other online store. Customer service is so poor. Repeatedly saying sorry is not good enough and they just send stock answers. To add insult even though they do not send your order they send a follow up email to review the item. This poor stock control process means this is shop you should never go to as even when ordering and paying the extra for next day delivery I have had the 'sorry' email after I expected the delivery, which has meant have been left without an outfit that was needed for that evening.

“Horrible management ”

Oasis in Cork Ireland have horrible management. They are incompetetant at retail management. I recently bought an item in the mahon point store and went to the city to the flagship to return it. It was a Saturday and there were no staff available. They were too busy tasking. The Sales manager was unable to process the refund and sought the store manager. This woman is managing there a long time and made me feel like a prisioner for returning an item. She spoke to another woman th entire time while she was doing my refund RUDE. Wont be buying anything in oasis again out of principle. Ignorant and bad customer service.

“Oasis Jeans - Scarlet”

Do not buy these jeans! I made the mistake of buying two pairs, i loved the fit and the style, but they lasted for less than 4 months. The fabric in the front pockets is very poor quality, and tears very easily. The seam running up the seat of both sets of jeans split, leaving just threads of fabric. Fortunately my underpants were a similar colour to the jeans, otherwise i would have been left very exposed! A very bad buy!

“Don't order bags! ”

I ordered a bag and then it became out of stock, so i ordered another one and after fast delivery, i opened the parcel and when i picked up the bag, the handle snapped off! So i got a refund and ordered the same bag again and that was out of stock. The quality of the it bags are disgraceful!

“Poor Custormer Service”

I went to try on a few items of clothing including a cream jumper. The jumper left my (dark coloured)hair, vest top and black trousers absolutley covered in bits of cream fluff. I called a member of staff who came with her colleague to the cubicle. I showed them what had happened and asked if they might at least be able to offer me a clothes brush. Upon seeing the state of my hair and trousers, and realising it was their jumper which has caused this I was told by one of them to "shut up". I add this was made in a joking manner - as if jesting with one of her friends. Nevertheless, I was a potential customer and so it was completley unprofessional. In additon they were not even able to offer me a clothes brush because they didn't have one. Needless to say I walked out without purchasing anything.

“Impossible to get a refund/voucher from concession ”

I was bought a lovely top from the Oasis concession in John Lewis, however it didn't fit. As I don't live near a John Lewis I went to my nearest Oasis which is a concession in Debenhams. I didn't see anything suitable to exchange it for. I was told I couldn't have a refund as the Oasis concessions are in different stores, and I couldn't have a voucher as the voucher would be for Debenhams not Oasis therefore Debenhams would profit when I came to spend it, not Oasis! I was advised to keep returning to the store within the next 28 days until I found something I liked, and hope the price wasn't reduced within that time (not feasible - I hardly ever have the time to go shopping!) I'm disgusted at their lack of customer care and ridiculous refund policy and won't be shopping at Oasis again.

“Amazing service”

I tried to order a coat from oasis online twice but my giftcard would not work, it debited the money from the giftcard but would not process the order. I emailed Oasis Customer Service quite late in the evening - When I woke the next morning I already had an email saying that they will be able to refund it (they responded approx 5am), this had to be done twice because for some reason my giftcard would not work online. I today went to the Trafford Centre store and the two ladies behind the till ordered the coat for me, they were brilliant and really helpful. The Oasis Customer Service staff and the staff at Trafford Centre Oasis were so helpful and all went that extra mile to help me. Brilliant customer service :-)

“Horrible service”

I don't even know where to begin. First of all I ordered two dresses. They both came in sizes that were too big. I sent them back, with the postage and still have not gotten my money back. That was back in May. Customer service tolde to show proof that I mailed them back. I guess I was supposed to take a picture or something. Don't buy from this store! It's awful.

I bought an Oasis butterfly dress online from 'Oasis & Other Brands' at 20% discount (from Australia). It was only after placing my order that I read so many negative reviews about its online services etc, and was worried I would never see my dress.. But it arrived 8 days after ordering. I had received an email notifying of its arrival in mail centre the day before delivery. It was packaged well and came with a full length plastic cover and hanger. The quality is excellent, in fact, much better than what I expected being a first time Oasis shopper. Fits very well. Overall, very happy with the experience and would definitely shop here again.

“Misleading company and online service, do not order...”

I have recently tried to order a dress online, it is for an occasion that is coming up shortly, so I ordered it last Sunday online. First I put my debit card details in, and it came up with a message saying 'we are unable to place your order', which I thought was very odd, so I tried my credit card instead and then my partner suggested maybe it was my bank, so he tried his debit card, everytime it came up with the simple message of 'unable to place your order' with no further details. It had then turned out, like many other of their customers who have written reviews on this website, that they had taken the amount of the accounts every single time, totalling a very large amount of money missing. The bank informed me that the money was coming out, so both me and my partner wrote emails to them (no customer service number available to call, which is absolutely unacceptable with such an established company). I got a response saying that it was normal, and that they just have the money pending but it won't come out, the issue was that my delivery address was different from my billing address which they said I can't do on a first order. but then surely they shouldn't take the amount anyway? and maybe explain when the order doesn't go through what the issue is! The person that spoke to me was unapologetic and replied an unacceptable email to me. My partner got better luck with the person he was conversing with, they were even nice enough to give me a small amount of store credit, and to fax our banks to explain the issue. I am now still waiting for my credit card to get the money back though, but I genuinly needed the dress so I ordered it again, following their directions. Paid extra for it to be delivered today as I needed to be home for it, and they went to the wrong house, so didn't deliver it. We then called DPD, where we also had terrible customer service, and they couldn't do anything about it. I am now not around for any of the days they've suggested as I have a job with which I travel, so my partner has to wait on Wednesday for it and leave work when they say the timings that it will come. It's nearly a week later, I'm worried these are not the last issues I'm going to have with this order especially after reading everything else people have said, and I am extremely upset about the whole situation. My main advice is just go to a store if you see something you like online, rather than ordering it.

Exactly the same has happened to me today. They have debited my card 3 times but kept asking me to try again, not sure what excuse they will give me as same delivery address as I had previously used. Totally unacceptable that you cannot phone them when they take your money, and even if the money is pending it is still unavailable for you to spend for 3 days. Rubbish company and I shall be writting to their MD.

“Avoid at all costs”

The layout of this store manages to be both fussy and bland. With its perpetual, wilting 70% sales posters, it is more reminiscent of a 1990's B-Wise or Bon Marche store than a contemporary ladies fashion outlet and could learn much from its Solihull and Bullring counterparts. If you do need to return a faulty item, be prepared for severe interrogation from the condescending and aggressive store manager. I attempted to return a jumper that had shrunken in one direction only. I had the receipt and already explained how I had followed the washing instructions to the letter. She spoke to me with the passive/aggressive tone of Nixon whilst simultaneously dissecting my washing methods and addressing my 4 year old for touching the clumsy store displays. Upon each of my answers to her questions she would twist and reverse tactics in the manner of Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad) until eventually she deduced that it was my fault, after all, because I had placed the garment on an airer in my spare bedroom (after reshaping, naturally) instead of placing on a wire hanger. Unfortunately, the washing instructions hadn’t gone into such depth and my powers of telepathy not being up to scratch, I left the store questioning my mothering and clothes washing capabilities. Had I slipped into a time warp and was once again 12 years of age? I had believed I was professional 36 year old woman. Was my 28 year history of almost completely successful clothes washing nothing more than a dream? This was after the manager concluded with a bewildering definition of my statutory rights. Clearly, the legislative jargon is usually sufficient to convince customers of her authority.
