General comments: Been to some bad Game shops and some good game shops .I went to the one in AYR and it was the best game store ive been to !! the customer services were great and had no problems and were so good in fact i emailed game to compiment that store. i bought a ps3 off them with fifa 09 and the nice women even game a discount !!! :O very pleased !Then i came back to Blackburn and sadly it brung down my review rating . this one i felt un- welcome and i felt they just wanted to get me to leave the store and i was going to buy alot of games from that store but i felt so unwelcome i want an apology from game !! and i didnt buy my games from them

christmas 2008 asked my sister for guitar hero world tour on xbox 360. on christmas opened it only to find the game individually which cost £49.99 and the whole set of instruments for rock band 1 which cost her £140.00. i havent got a clue why when she went in to buy guitar hero they would give her the wrong instruments when she would have been clearly trying to buy the guitar hero ones. when i went back on boxing day to exchange them they had gone down in the sales by £50 a ...

Major gripe with game.co.uk is that ordered item which was "in stock" and "immediate availability", waited almost a week before receiving an email telling me it was actually out of stock.Delivery was slow, maybe Royal Mail but items from other sites can be delivered in one to two days.Much prefer them instore to online if you can get there, prices can be lower too.

Ordered Singstar Abba PS2 as website stated in stock. Several days later The House of the Dead Wii arrived. Not an easy mistake to pack such different games. The receipt was correct stating Abba but the item enclosed was not. I emailed Game and 2 days later I was told to return the item, freepost but with proof of postage from the post office. So Game's mistake cost me the new envelope and a tedious trip to the post office on a rare free lunchbreak. I have requested a refund and I will order fro ...

Queued at Game for half an hour only to be told could not buy the game as it was in a dummy box and they could not find a proper box with the correct bar code to scan. Staff did not seem interested in resolving the issue, just shrugged their shoulders. went elsewhere. Will not use again on principle.

I ordered MGS4 over 3 weeks backs which unluckily got lost in post and I am struggling to get it re-ordered.
So far, I have not been able to get any replies from Game.co.uk and in 'my account' the item is still showing 'delivered'.

After e-mailing Game several times for help, they just sent me the generic support e-mail. After I replied asking for more specific help, I recieved a reply that looked as thought it was a part of the previous e-mail copied and pasted. They also didn't answer any of my questions to my satisfaction.I asked for a refund, and have yet to hear back.

I wouldn't shop at game, unless your really desperate for a certain 'out of stock' game, because they usually do have it but bundle it so you have to spend more.

Game is a good place as the shops are in the main towns and are tidy. Also the website is good and has clear sections. Sadly the website and the stores always have the wrong release dates and hardly come out on that date!

From my experience at GAME, I can value the store for the customer service which more then justifies the price that the store does charge.
Also the higher prices I have seen tend to have related to avaliability of stock.
Is quite funny, seeing other members of the public complain about price offers when the deal in the other store has sold out!
When I pre-ordered games from GAME, they always had one reserved for me, sealed, behind the counter and the management, senior staff always had gre ...

When it comes to buying a game for any games console you would have to be a fool not to shop around, but as far as I am concerned, Game www.game.com made my and all my families Christmas this year.As another reviewer said, at one stage, no-one had a Nintendo Wii to sell, and then the week before Christmas they started to role in.....everywhere else I tried, Argos, HMV, Tesco Direct, were selling them in bundles with games we didn't want, but not Game, they stuck to their guns and sold them at th ...

I would go back and shop in Game, as I found the staff to be professional and always smiling. I got some great bargains, and I managed to get a Nintendo Wii at £179.99 when all the other retailers were ripping people off by making them pay £300 for a bundle they don't want. Top marks to Game!

Why oh why would anyone buy their gaming products from GAME? Fair enough - their shops are always very tidy and well set out; and the choice of products is good, but the prices of the games is higher than most online stores and Gamestation. Also, when I was trying to find a VGA box for my Xbox, I had 3 sales assistants in the Manchester Arndale store scratching their heads in confusion. One of them even tried to sell me a SCART lead! It's not the end of the world, I know, but in a shop called 'G ...
