I have ordered a pair of jeans, the same model I still have bought in 2010. Suprisingly, the model I have received now is totally different from the old one, although the pic on the site looks exactly like the ones I have! My fist concern is with the authenticity! Has anyone experienced this before? What to do??? Can I force them to admit that it is not what it should be? (read more)

So disappointed - the children's clothes I bought online arrived and the quality was so poor. Stray cotton, see through, creased and toxic smelling. Very overpriced - even in sale. Will not be keeping and charged for delivery and postage both ways. Prefer Matalan or Primark as better quality and realistic prices - sorry, but this store is in real danger I think. (read more)

Bought a jacket from them, got it home and found a small stain on it. Don't live anywhere near a store so spoke to the Customer Service Manager on the phone and she told me to post it back to her. She then posted it back a day later saying that I must have made the stain because the staff member (in a busy city centre store) can remember serving me and the jacket was perfect on sale. Absolutely furious with this response and am taking the complaint further. Will never shop with them again (read more)

I bought a coat from FCUK and 12 months later had it specialist dry cleaned by my cleaner who I have used for years. He followed the care label instructions faithfully and now the coat is so shrunken it is unwearable. I returned it to FCUK and they apparently "discussed" it with Quality Assurance and then sent the coat back by return saying it was not their fault and must be the dry cleaners and denied all liability. When I talked to the Customer Service Manager she told me described how... (read more)

I recently bought a suit at French Connection Brighton. I have worn it three times and the trousers are worn out. I complained and the staff were extremely patronising, and refused any refund. I will never buy anything there again, and urge others to shop elsewhere (read more)

I would refrain from ever buying French Connection again. after 4 weeks these cords ripped at the seam. Due to them costing £75 I took them back expecting them to offer me another pair. They were not interested at all. In fact the manager there implied this was down to wear and tear. If you want your clothes to last more than 4 weeks shop elsewhere! (read more)

I was next to be served and the cashier said the lady next to him would serve me to save me waiting. So I went over and was totally ignored by her she carried on doing nothing. Once the other customer had finished I thought I would be served by thcashierbut no the 2 cashiers decided to talk to each other and ignore me waiting to pay. Then another customer came over and the cashier served them straight away. I left my items and walked out. I will not be shopping in the lakeside store again. (read more)

I bought a dress in the e-shop. I gave them my credit card, and they confirmed me the order. They told me that the dress will arrived in 5 days. A week later, they told me that they don't have stock and they cancel my order. I was very angry. I entered in the web and I could buy the dress the did't put that item out of stock, then, why they cancel the order? I don't understand. I'll never buy again fcuk, its a fake!! (read more)

I bought a bexx dress in lisburn for a night out after having a baby, was a treat would not usually spend 130 pound on a dress!! They steamed it and put a black bag over it, i put it away for the following night. i was ready to go, hair, makeup, etc and took the bag off to step into my lovely new dress, i was horrified to find a large security tag still on the dress. I did not spring back into shape within 2 wks so had NOTHING else to wear. My husband had to use large plyers to get the tag... (read more)

I'd only buy their stuff in a sale, it's overpriced otherwise. Was told at the till that they don't offer refunds on sale goods, though this is illegal if the goods are faulty. (read more)

I experienced disappointing service. Ordered 3rd of December (for Christmas)- they still have not shipped December 20 claiming they required additional information. I have emailed 3 times asking what information they needed and gotten a seemingly vague response, I also called them and listened to their answering machine claim they were not answering their phones during this 'busy period.' Was amazed at how unprofessional they appeared to me. (read more)

I love French Connection, well worth the money you pay! The fittings are really good and the quality is well worth the price you pay. Also will keep you looking trendy with different unique styles all year long and good enough to keep for years, as most there items won't go out of fashion! (read more)

French Connection has clothing for men, women and children and although I feel the prices are quite expensive the clothing always feels of a very high quality. If you are able to hold off for a while on that dress that you like then most items end up in the sale, usually at half the price. They have a lot of plain clothing so its really good for buying items for your capsule wardrobe as well as funky t-shirts. The shop is well laid out and staff are always on hand asking if you would like... (read more)

French Connection has the most awful refunds policy. I bought a coat from them which 12 months later I had specialist dry cleaned in accordance with their label by a dry cleaner I have used for many years. The coat is now so shrunken it is unwearable. Whe I returned it for assessment by their "Quality Assurance" they told me they had discussed it with their Garment Technologist and their was nothing wrong with the coat - it must all be down to my dry cleaner. Beware of this company. Never buy an item from them that needs dry cleaning as their care labels are imprecise and contradictory and their Customer Service Manager who told me how unfortunate it was that she had to work their with their policies to customers is merely their to field off customers with faulty items and deny any liability on behalf of their company. BEWARE of this company. I personally shall never shop there again.

I bought some fantastic jeans from French Connection. The cut is very flattering, slimming on the hips, flared at the bottom and many styles to choose from. Although it's a bit pricey for me with only a Saturday job I'm willing to sacrifice for fab jeans! The last pair I bought were "too flare" for £65, bargain! They're great, and you get cool bags when you buy for this shop and also they have a fabulous half price sale right now! (read more)

I totally agree with the previous review. I bought a few items for my 2 year old son, the items label age 2-3 but they are ways too small so I want to return them. Until this point I realised there is no free post return label. I cant believe that as all online clothes store these day offer free return. I feel like being ripped off. Will never ever buy again.
