Went to the restaurant here with my Mum for lunch. Asked for tikka masala which they didn't even have. Was offered chilli, which I dislike. My mum wanted the fish and chips, so I ordered the same. We were told to pay at the till and our meals would be brought to our table. We waited at the till for about 5minutes until a member of staff arrived to take our payment. “online shopping made difficult - don't use”

When I wanted to return a click and collect item, I was unable to log in with the same details. Tried to call them - no response Tied to email them, but instead got a over complicated online form, which when I pressed send disappeared into the ether with no indication what had happened - it just dumped me back into FAQs Still no response. I had returned an item. Since this could not be returned to a store, i posted the item on 28/05.14. Received ack. on 03/06/14 saying they have returned £30.00(the returned item price) and it will be in my account. It was in my account BUT NOT £30.00 but only £26.00. I thought it can be human error and since then contacted through email 4 times. So far not received a single ack. and still waiting for a refund. Proper cheats! I am not giving up. Ordered flower girls dresses that I required urgently as my bridesmaids do not live in the same prt of the country as me and they were visiting at the weekend. Was never given the express option when I orderd them within store and was told would take approx 4 days. “This is the worst company ever”

Iplaced an order, paid extra for delivery on a certain day, nothing arrived, and nothing from BHS as to why they did not deliver the items. 2 days later I phoned Customer (don't)Care. BHS used to be good.I actually worked there about 20 year ago and customer service was a priority.they have really dropped the ball over the last couple of years.With higher price tags than m&s for comparable items.Ladies wear is old fashioned and menswear garbage. it is no wonder they have regular "up to 30%" off events,as no one in their right mind would pay full price for this stuff.Buck up you ideas BHS.

“BHS restaurant”

We decided with few other options to have lunch in the convinient BHS restaurant. It is a decisio I regret and a mistake that I will not be making again. The resraurant was heavily under staffed. By the time I reached my table the tea had gone cold and by the time the incompetant staff had heated my panini I was already about to die from hunger. Dated restaurant. Bad service. Too expensive. I purchased a £25 Gift card because there was a sign saying " OUR GIFT TO YOU, Buy a £25 gift card and we will give you a voucher for £5" In very small writing underneath it said, terms and conditions apply.These terms and conditions should be on the sign. “quality control for finished product is abysmal”

I brought 3 items of same size but different colour. Two turned out to be smaller than the one that fitted. The arm apertures were so small the straps cut into the skin. I ordered a highchair and it wasn't made clear on the site that the seat was made of fabric, on the website it stated 'easy wipe clean', which was clearly not the case. BHS offers free returns or return to store and this was the company I believed I was ordering from. BHS Direct does not offer the same service. They do not make you aware of this when transferring you to their 'dedicated mother and baby site'. Would never buy from BHS online again I bought a lamp online which arrived damaged so has to be returned. I asked for a refund including my postage according to the distance selling regulations ti received a refund for the lamp but not the postage I had paid. I did an on-line order with bhs for £91.13 this order was cancelled by them with no explanation! I phoned up to enquire about this order and was told by their sales advisor that exactly the same order was now a whopping £176.00!! I received a text message last night informing me that my delivery would be received between 7-9am this morning which i was pleased with rather than having to wait around all day, however at 7.20am i noticed a card had been put through the door saying they tried to deliver and no one was in- although they didnt ring the bell!!
