I've had my Panasonic TH-42PA20 now for 4 or 5 years, have excellent picture and sound quality, not a moments trouble with it The screen is as clear and clean as it was when I bought it. The manual is sometimes a little fuzzy but on the occasions I've had to phone the help line like when setting up dvd recorder. wii etc, they were extremely knowledgeable and sorted the problem pronto, even years after the guarantee had run out. Mine is mounted on the wall using a mounting in wood that we made ourself. I would definitely buy the same again ( well - a larger screen next time)

I was told when i got my Panasonic TH-42PA20 not to leave it sitting on any one screen as it may 'burn' the image onto the screen. This is not a problem after a very short while from using. The packaging should be kept as if you move house it is a very good way of transporting and protecting the TV.I am looking to invest in a Hi Def Sky decoder, and this unit can accomodate this very well i.e. future proofed.I will look to 3-D TVs in ten years time. In the meantime I'll stick to the Panasonic. ...

The Panasonic TH-42Pa20 is an excellent Plasma Television. For over two years my TV has been perfect. Excellent picture plus a great sound. No problems. Have had two other brands of flat screen TV's one plasma the other LCD that were bought after the Panasonic and both had problems. The LCD could not be fixed and the plasma cost more than I was willing to pay to fix it. I guess the extended warnties might be the way to go. I would buy the Panasonic in a heart beat.

Have had good service and hope for many more years, my last TV was a Bang & Olufsen and that is still going 35 years on.

Panasonic TH-42PA20 - Ok maybe the sound isn't the greatest coming from a tv, but let's face it, the people at Panasonic have put their resources at picture quality with this model and suceeded. Also I don't know of anyone who purchases a plasma without having it hooked up to their entertainment system. Onward to image quality. I split the difference because brocasters cannot bring the same image quality as you would get off a dvd even in HDTV. Worse yet is the analog signal, which represen ...

The Panasonic TH-42PA20 Television is sleek and expansive but considering I have had it mounted on my living room wall for the past year I can't understand how the SC Board & its associated computer chip became defective. I enjoyed the TV briefly but should have got the extended warranty since the 1-year factory warranty will not cover the costs of resolving this TV.

I have had my Panasonic TH42PA20 Plasma Television for almost a year now, as already commented I was wary on spending such a large amount given that screens burn etc. but it has been fabulous. The fact that the t.v tuner is built in is great too, I also have the stand that is an extra. I also run DVD's through the composite connection and the picture quality is nothing short of amazing. Every time I watch this screen I am very happy I decided to buy it.

I have had my Panasonic TH-42PA20 Plasma Television now for over a month and it is certainly the best purchase I have ever made. When I first started looking at buying a Plasma TV I like most was nervous about spending a large amount of money, weary of the 'Screen burn' factors of a plasma, and also not sure which plasma I should get. The Panasonic TH-42PA20 is definately one of the best value for money mid-range plasmas on the market. The picture quality is excellent (TV and DVD) and it ...
