I have a Synergist Endurance saddle which is by far the most comfortable saddle I have owned for both me & my horse. I've ridden over 700 hours in my current saddle. Synergist is the ONLY saddle I will ride! I recommend them to everyone who inquires about my saddle at NATRC, AERC, and while general conditioning on the trail.
Synergist has solved the age old problem of fitting the rider & horse. And, they have excellent customer service.
As for the persons who are giving Synergist negative...

The Synergist company made this saddle in a week. It came with a small gash in the pommel do to negligent packing. Bad saddle. Not secure at all.
Slides around. Would not recommend for anyone.

I found this review not helpful because it has the markings of the proverbial knee-jerk, sour grapes variety.

<br/>The obvious question to ask is whether the reviewer made any attempt to discuss the alleged issue with the saddler and have them resolve the issue. I've shipped many things that I've personally packed extremely well only to have a careless shipper beat it up, damaging the contents. That kind of thing is not unusual and a one-time incident says absolutely nothing about the reputation of the people who shipped the product.

This is a great product! I have been using it for years and have not had any complaints. I have been getting my horseback riding equipment from a site called www.EQtack.com that has the lowest prices and all of the equestrian equipment/apparel that you can think of. The Synergist Saddle people were extremely helpful when I was shopping for a custom-fitted saddle for my horse. After using their exclusive Equimeasure saddle-fitting system where I created an exact mold of my horse's back they made a saddle that fits my horse perfectly. Me and my horse couldn't be happier. The saddle doesn't chafe my horse like my off-the-shelf saddle did. Since I spend a lot of time in the saddle when I go on endurance rides, my backside is a lot more comfortable as well. (read more)

That's very odd. Syngersits are known for lasting quality and are selling all over the net for well over $1000. You should have no problem recouping your investment, espcially since they can be retrofitted to any horse's shape.

Synergist has made the most comfortable saddle for the horse and rider I have ever owned. Horses with behaviour problems far too often are determined to be caused by an ill-fitting saddle. Synergist Saddles fit you and your horse. After almost 10 years and my horses are as happy and comfortable as I am. (read more)

I found this review very helpful because it confirms what I had suspected after reading other comments by other "contributors." That is to say that there appears to be a lot of misinformation going around about Synergist saddles - especially used Synergist saddles which, by their unique design, can easily be refitted to another horse. This fact (to my thinking) makes the initial investment into a Synergist saddle an exceptionally good one if you plan to change horses. Synergist refitting costs are nominal compared to buying a new saddle from another saddler - even a cheap saddle.
<br/>
<br/>Complaints about Synergist seem to have more to do with their customer service which some reviewers seem to think should include swapping out a custom made endurance saddle for a brand new Western saddle after owning the custom saddle for a year and a half! Does Synergist really have any obligation to swap saddles after that long just because the customer only owns one saddle and wants to change? I think not.

<br/>Synergist is a multi-generation, family-owned saddler that obviously takes pride in building great fitting saddles. Absolutely contrary to some comments I've found their customer service to be exceptional, fair and as accommodating as any business every time I've communicated with them. Very knowledgeable people and products. Five star service!

I found this review very helpful because it refers to several common sense considerations that anyone who has and who has been around horses a long time would also be concerned about.

<br/>Especially, the references to people who allegedly have had negative experiences with Synergist are spot-on. Such outlandish claims just do not make sense and run exactly opposite of my personal experiences with the helpful people at Synergist whom I've shopped with for tack and other needs for years. Never had a problem with them and I've been at this game for more than 45 years!
