Good Points: worked for a short while... (if that's even a good point at all)

General comments: I had my Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron for maybe 2 years and it just died out of the blue. it stopped heating up. and so I have read on I see this is a common problem! I am angry because it is supposed to be professional... but it doesn't seem professional to me. If anyone knows of a good brand please let me know.

Overall I don't think I will buy this one again because my first one did not last long and, I don't like the warranty, especially the store policies warranty.

The Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron is light. Not hot enough and my salon wouldn't replace (after I only used it twice!). They said it was fine. I've bought better for 1/5th the price.

I have the basic model of the Ceramic fat iron straighteners. I got it discounted from a friend who used to be a hair dresser for $80 CDN. It does heat up very fast, but I have very curly hair and until I figured out that you have to go over the bits you are straightening with a rat tailed comb, it didn't work very well. Now I'm pretty satisfied. I've had it for about 3 years, and it works fine for me. I don't use it too often though.

Just like everyone else - it fails after 2 years. I own my own salon and have 22 employee's. None of them purchase Ceramix anymore due to the poor quality. We have had 16 fail in less than a 2 year span. Save your money and get another brand.

I am very disappointed with the Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron hair straightener. I paid 149.99 CAD just over 2 years ago, and this flat iron lights up, but does not heat up at all. It is useless, and I have had to invest in another flat iron long before I had planned to. It was a lot of money for something that only lasted a couple of years.

Does anyone know who I need to contact to find out how long the warranty is on the Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron, and does any one have the contact details? I loved it, but after 2 years it just stopped heating up. I tried everything, and I really don't think after only 2 years I should have to pay another 120.00 can for another.

I loved my Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron, then on New Years Eve of all nights, it stopped working! My hair is just a bit wavy, but it is so thick (remember Monica from friends, the Maui episode!) I can't live without my straightener. Anyway, I would never buy it again.

Just like the other reviewer said, my Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron also stopped working suddenly on a day when I NEEDED it...today...New Year's Eve. I also tried to squeeze it and fiddle and it heated up for about a second or two and now it's just garbage. I'd definitely recommend it as it worked well while I had it. I just hate to have to spend another $100 for a new one.

My Ceramix Ionic flat iron is about 2 years old. About 5 days ago it stopped working, but after I lightly tapped it and held it tightly together it would start to heat up, long enough to straighten my short hair.

Now it is completely garbage!! Of course it had to stop working on a day I need it, and at a time when I am unemployed and don't have another $100.00 to dish out.

Overall I am pretty satisfied with this product. The only glitch would have to be the fact that there is no warning ...

I love the Dannycoo Cermix Professional Ionic Flat Iron with Extra Wide Plates! I can't believe how quickly it straightens out my wavy hair. I have slightly coarse, very think and wavy hair - hair that usually takes my hairdresser over 30 minutes of blow-drying to get straight.

Overall, it left my hair feeling soft and shiny. If found this item at a reasonable price in Canada at $69.95 - on sale from $89.00 CDN. Given what it can do, I think the price is reasonable.

    Look for the "Dan ...

I am so angry!! on the day of a really important job interview I woke up extra early to blow dry my hair so that it looked nice, straight and sleek only when I went to finish off the straightening process with my ceramix flat iron much to my horror it would not heat up! The red light would turn on however I couldn't get it to work. I am so disapointed with this product, I would never buy it again.

Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron - This product is NOT worth the money! Considering most hair salons will only take it back for up to 30 days and it is immposible to get a hold of dannyco trading...the distributors of this product, even though they CLAIM to stand behind their products.

I used my CeramixIonic Flat Iron almost everyday. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped. The ON light was on, but there was no heat. I took it back to where I purchased it, but without a receipt, they couldn't help me. This Ceramix lasted only 9 months. I paid $70 CDN for it. Do you think it's worth it?

Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron - HEY!! This iron is very easy to use and quickly works through even corkscrew curls like my friend has. It easily will exceed your satisfaction. It exceeds mine. Although it is an expensive way.....*laughs*
