Good Points: the scanner is fairly good

General comments: My Epson Stylus printer CX3200 never works and when it does the quality is very poor look elsewhere

Frankly, i don't recommend it. I've had many stressful days coping with this machine. It is easy to use and the 3-in-one is extremely helpful for a student (which i am). It worked well for about the first two years and then it was just complication after complication. It started to have banding problems, and then more recently, paper jams. It also is quite annoying that you have to get the chip in the ink cartridge reset everytime the computer "thinks" the ink is run out- since i have a ink refi ...

The Epson CX3200 is easy to use. I could control the scanner from the PC, which I did find helpful. Photos were good but did take a while.
The top flap is removable which is superb when copying large objects.
It's quite a bulky affair but with nice clean lines. With that size I should have thought that the paper tray is fully enclosed inside but for some reason or another, nearly all manufacturers choose to tack the in-tray at the back or front and which collects dust.

It was my first printer/copier and for the 4/5 years I had it I had no problems, it was a good workhorse. Reliable, reasonably priced, ok if you want a basic printer/copier for home or small office use, though don't expect any complicated extras, it is a printer/scanner. Epson send lots of little things to help you, e.g.templates. The manual is easy and short. Customer service is very good. The machine is easy to use with a clear panel and controls, and it's easy to load cartridges.

In general the price of the unit and the ink cartridges makes the CX3200 a good buy for the money as long as you can put up with the occasional problems with quality. I also read that it is a good idea to run the unit once a week to prevent quality and head clogging problems. I have had this unit for about 6 years and believe that I have gotten my moneys worth from it.

Now it's become impossible to print anything without horizontal banding & a mess of black ink, cleaned the heads over & over again, only option would be to take it apart, but would rather not, another printer is on the cards! Not Epson, do not recommend this Epson all in one printer!

This has been the best printer I ever had, and I have had a few, when it wears out I intend to have it refurbished I like it that much. I have had mine for over 4 years and its been great, I use it a lot thousands of copies and pages burnt. Therefore well recommend Epson Stylus CX3200.

Very happy with Epson Stylus CX3200, but am looking for one that just as good and cheap but can also print good quality photos. Most new printers go through ink very quickly!

From a company with Epson's reputation I would have expected better.

I have owned and used my Epson CX320 for three years and have had no trouble and no real complaints. An excellent piece of kit.

Epson family of printers since the late 90's are recommended in that you can use budget compatible ink.

Epson Stylus CX3200 - My first all-in-one printer-scanner-copier. After 13 months the scanner stopped working. The printer now needs the nozzle head frequently cleaned as lines appear on pictures otherwise. Print quality better than you would expect for a cheap and cheerful machine. Copying quality average but no good for forgers. I would recommend Epson for their value for money printers but in future I will go for something with multiple colour cartridges for better quality.

I bought this Epson Stylus CX3200 Inkjet Printer for less than £100 from Currys and I am well pleased with it. It does everything it says on the box.

One of the reasons I buy Epson is that I can get compatible cartidges for it. I have been using them on Epson printers for over 4 years and have never had any problem.
