I recently traded in my Kahr CW40 for a CIA made GP Wasr 10/63. I was really excited at the gun store, but after doing some research online i was nervous about possible caniting in the gas block and front site. Fortunately, mine has niether. Also, "as of 2008, there are GP WASR-10/63 rifles which are being made from demilled military rifles. Look for a triangle with arrow (some only have a triangle) on the front trunnion. Quality is much better with these." (wikipedia). I have the triangle with the arrow on my trunion.

Pro's - It's a 7.5 lbs creation of wood and steel that will not break, jam or fail. It has a chrome lined barrel. With the Tapco trigger, a 3.5 lb trigger pull is awesome on this gun. I can easily bump fire from the shouldered position replicating full auto fire. Also, there are hundreds of parts and mods that can be done to an AK

Con's - Not to many to mention. The wood furniture is pretty shabby from the factory; a can of minwax, sandpaper and a rag will fix that problem in about 2-3 days. The finish on the gun is a bit weak, so I duracoated mine and it looks sexy(no baking needed w/duracoat!!!) I have magazine wobbles with most of my mags, but that is something i can live with, it hasn't affected the gun's accuracy in any ay that i can see.

I am super happy with my trade in for my WASR 10. I've put about 3000 rounds through it so far and not a single issue. I have an accurate range of about 200-225 meters before groupings go out the window, but that is standard with all ak's. At 100 meters and closing, i get 3 inch groupings all day long

I bought my Romanian AK-47 WASR-10 about 4 months ago, Ive shot maybe 200 or 300 rounds through it, it has worked flawlessly. Before i bought it i researched it. look out for canted sights,mag wobble, and general condition and don't pay over 650 (i did). if you cant find one look on gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com, its a great firearm for the money! just dont overpay! look around before you buy!!

Just purchased a AK-47 WASR-10 by Century International and tried it out. I had much trouble chambering the first round with the cocking mechanism. After that it seemed to work better in the semi-auto mode off the gas system.
Also had multiple jams with a 10 round mag, less with the 30. Called the dealer and he told me it needed breaking in. Don't know if he's blowing me off or there is truth in it. After reading all of the reviews and my own experience it seems it is a hit or miss deal getting ...

This is my first rifle I always wanted an AK. Some of the reviews of the WASR I have read left me a little worried at first. Everybody seems to consider this rifle to be bottom of the barrel. I decided to get the rifle anyway after looking at it. This is a fantastic rifle I love it. The finish is a little rough but very easily cleaned up. The Romanian AK-47 WASR-10 is Solid, and FUNCTIONAL!! Until last week, I had never owned a Romanian. I took it to the range yesterday, and it functioned flawlessly!! I have to say, the finish on the wood and metal isnt all that great. But, ak's arent meant to be pretty, they are made to fire!! The finish on the wood left something to be desired. I would highly recommend getting one, if you can still find one for sale, that is.

Not only GREAT for the the money BUT GREAT! Love mine! Century I. arms . SOLID, no mag wobble like I've seen with many other! SOLID BUILD.

Great gun for home defense. fun to blast 100 rounds as quick as you want. i love ak 47 but never realy messed with a romanian until the other day it comes in 3rd place of all ak's

All and all a great rifle and love mine. no complaints. get one while you can. Great reliable rifle after all it is an ak, mine had great furniture the reciever was like new shoots nice, it did take some break in time. aaaaaa++++++++++

the Romanian AK47 is an extremely affordable air rifle. Its also very economically efficient. I can not find any bad things about this weapon.

Are you serious? How could any cilvian get an assult riffle like this? Anyone can use it, when I say anyone I mean anyone can cock it and shoot it! Well, the gun can be taken apart in seconds to clean, bullets are cheap but it doesn't matter how many bullets you can afford, your WASR-10 will just spend it like a gold digging wife. I got mine for 375 with tax but honestly i can't complain, I know others who've had a horrible experience on the gun so I'd rather get a gun that works. I love shootin ...

This rifle does not disappoint. Mine shipped with the Tapco single-hook trigger group which is remarkably smooth with no trigger-snap. Accuracy to 100 meters is fine, after that groups tend to widen. It would benefit from a rear peep-sight instead of the fork sight it ships with. Comes packed in cosmoline grease which must be carefully removed or it will come bubbling out of the joints after firing through a few mags. Though actually that's kind of fun. Eats any kind of ammo without once misfi ...

I am very happy for those of you who purchased a WASR and have had little or no problems with it. However, I was not so lucky. The first time I went to shoot I could only shoot (1) round at a time because the severe wobble of the magazine would cause the following round to fail to feed (it would basically jam up because the alignment would not allow the round to feed into the chamber). Whats the point of saving money if you get a piece of rubbish that won't work properly, mine didnt anyway? I kn ...

It is a sweet rifle. It is an all around good rifle. I bought a good condistion one for $250. It is reliable. What else can I say.

The ones i have dealt with have done what there supposed to do.......only a few minor probs........(except one), the crome chipped out of the barrel . between the gas block and the muzzle!! didnt hurt accuracy though!!

The gun shop I bought mine from must of had 10 on the rack so I just took my time and cherrypicked. Just google it and watch out for the things that people are complaining about.

I've had a great time shooting mine , I've come to trust mine which means a lot to me , I have a friend that owns a beautiful russian made high dollar AK that I'd feel safer using as a ball bat to protect myself , but I have heard a lot of bad things about WASR 10's , so I either got lucky or some people are full of rubbish, I think it's probably some where in the middle .
