I thought this was a great hair product. My hair is poofy and the first time i used it my hair went straight and it was very shiny and smooth all my friend complomited my hair the next day i used to wear it up all the time but sence i have it now i always wear it down. It also heats up really fast!! I love this product i would tell everyone to use it for any types of hair!! But the only thing i would change is it only straighnes dry hair. but i recamind to use' frizz- Ease heat defeat"" with it so it doesnt hurt your hair, but over all i love this straighner!!!

I have been using the Helen of Troy line of hair straighteners since 2002. The first one (and the following two) I got was the original metal plate one. That one used to snag and pull hairs and over time, the hinge would warp and it didnt close the way it should, but that being said, it still was the only one that could straighten my unruly frizzy hair. Two years ago, I needed to replace yet another one of the metal plate ones and chose the ceramic version. This one is the best! It doesnt pull ( ...

The Helen Of Troy Hot Tools ceramic iron worked for a long time for me and did a decent job. It was hot, but the one I had may not have protected my hair as much as more expensive brands do.

I bought my Helen Of Troy (hot tools) flat iron two years ago. I use it every day, and it works like its brand new. I LOVE it!! My hair is frizzy and all that junk, but when I use this thing, you cannot tell that I have naturally frizzy hair. It's awesome! My friend has one too. She is the one that recommended it to me. The only thing that is bad about it, is that if you drop it at least twice it breaks, but it's sold for a great price, and it has a warranty.

    Highly recommended!

I bought Helen of Troy Hot Tools Ceramic Flat Iron because my HAI 2 iron broke. I wanted something cheaper; paid $39.99 and bought it at Sally Beauty supply. It works well. Hair doesn't turn frizzy even in Florida's humidity which is where I live. I had gotten a hair cut and used this iron for the first time, and I saw split ends immediately. Something about the way the plates heat up and make contact with the hair, they seem to promote split ends. Also, when it's ON, it smells like burning pla ...

I would have to say that Helen of Troy Hair Straighteners have to be one of the most poorly made products I've ever used. I turned it on one day and the plastic sidings around the ceramic plates started to melt! After that episode, now it won't even turn on? I bought this item only a few months ago.

I got this a couple of months ago and have only used it like 3 times. It's not because it's not good it's just I have a lot of hair so it takes a while. It works really good.

Helen of Troy straightener - I have naturally straight hair but after a angled haircut w/ layers my hair gets wavy and frizzy. I bought this straightner the other day at Sallys not willing to spend the money on the Ion straightener, which is the one they recommend. I've only used the Helen of Troy twice but I seem to like it. Hopefully, it won't stop working like the review above mentioned. If I wasn't playing on using the straightner for only a few months(till my hair grows long enough again) I ...

Helen of Troy Hot Tools Ceramic Flat Iron - When I first purchased it, it worked very good on my cury hair. When it was humid out, my hair didn't even become wavy. The only problem is they burn out easily, especially around the edges. I have been through a few of them, but at such a cheap price, its not that hard to go through them.
