    Good Points: A decent 3D card is a must these days and being fed up with a standard 8MB card I decided to purchase the best I could afford. With a budget of £100 I wanted the best I could get - the Hercules GeForce 2MX seemed to offer loads of great features such as fast 32MB of memory, an excellent fill rate and good support for games.


    Bad Points: Some would think £100 on a graphics card is a bit much but in comparison to the endless hours I plan to spend playing top 3D games such as Rogue Spear I think it is a great investment..!


    General comments: If your getting a new graphics card think about the chipset, Nvidia are perhaps the biggest so the support for a wide range of games helped me make the decision. There are hundreds of differnt cards available so make sure you buy from somewhere that knows what they are on about. Get a good brand, I had seen a few Hercules cards get reviewed in PC mags before so it was not a new name to me - and my last point, buy some decent games - no point having top of the range card and using it for minesweeper, you wont see the difference!
