    Just returned from Houda Golf & Beach Club after spending 14 nights there.Hotel looks fabulous from outside.Some of the rooms are ok ours was very basic.No view,corridors were very narrow and dark at night. The food was terrible as was the resturant, it was stuffy and the heat was unbearable at all times.The drinks were always warm.We were bitten and had upset stomachs for 5 days.However the italian resturant was beautiful and so was he pizza resturant.Needless to say we will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.

    i have never queued so much in my life...queue to eat queue to drink queue to go to toilet...i was really dissapointed the food was awful because of queues it was always cold when you sat down, if there was anything in the dishes it was the same old dross everyday but more often than not the hotplate was empty and we had to wait for more food to be brought out, the hotel staff were miserable and the rooms were at best basic, the smell from our bathroom permeated the whole room, if it wasn't for ...

    I loved this hotel the Houda Golf & Beach Club, I went there with my family and we all loved it, we didn't want to come home. We want to go back but they are closing for the winter because they are updating the hotel a bit.

    Good points, An english lady who has worked there for 16yrs, and the Thomas Cook rep. Bad points, although we did tip most staff they also try getting you to give them more by constantly complaining to you, one waiter spent at least 4 days trying to get my husband to give him his trainers. One flower boy asked for money so he could pay his boss, this is not the sort of thing I wish to contend with on holiday as I have saved for over 12 months to pay for it, I assume I should be allowed to relax ...

    The queue for food was ridiculous. By the time you had queued for chips the queued again for your meat your meal ended up being cold. The carvery was a joke. There were approx 300 people in the restaurant and every one wanted chips but they only had 2 places were the chips were served. The chips basically lasted about 3 or 4 mins then you had to wait until the chef brought/cooked some more.
    The entertainment was basic. No professional acts on, it was the animation team trying there best to en ...

    Loverly excursions. Good sandy beaches. Loverly people. Enjoyed
    going on camels, going to the zoo and Zulu night. Not much to choice of food, (but go to the Italian al le carte). The sea was all seweedy.

    Getting up at 0530 to get a sunbed (which isn't on the beach or pool side);
    Enjoying the hospitality of Russians, French, Germans, Czeck, Pols;
    Husband and I having to share a table whilst eating our breakfast, lunch and supper;
    Being kept awake all hours of the night (due to transfer and people shouting, screaming, knocking on doors then running away);
    No remote control for TV;
    TV making a crackling sound when turned up loud (and it needs to be loud to hear over the people screaming/shoutin ...

    We paid £750 total for 1 week all inclusive. Very clean rooms.
    Lovely friendly staff within the hotel. Animation team are excellent and work very hard long hours and never seem to be tired. Night entertainment is very good. Again animation team are excellent.
    Good close location to beach ( 1 minute walk from poolside) Delicious poolside food such as pizzas along with chips and other stuff .
    Regular bus into Sousse, Port El Kant and Monastir. Very cheap in comparison to a taxi. Bus cost ...

    This was a very good complex if you like golf? The weather was fantastic in May. We always played golf in the morning at 8 am but were looking forward to the pool. It's rated as a 3 star but has was excellent value for money. I went with my lad who was aged 15 at the time. But overall people were very friendly but what was quite amusing was if you played golf if you lost your balls which was quite a few they sold you them back?

    I have been to Tunisia on 7 occassions and loved it and this is why I returned to this Country. I visited this hotel in Skanes in Sep 04' for my 10th Wedding Anniversary. If anyone else has also suffered as a result of being in this 'resort' - said loosely please do not hestitate to send me a mail via the site and I will expand on how awful it was.

    The hotel was located in a very boring area with only a power station a pub and one shop the hotel is like a rabbit warren and very difficult to locate your room if your on the top floor, by the way this hotel does not have lifts so if anyone has walking problems ask for a ground floor. The best food around is the salon bar in sousse very good food and the staff were assertive and friendly.
