Good Points: Excellent location. Pool side entertainment was good.

Bad Points: Rude and unfriendly staff, including managers. Poor Maintenance. Poor Cleanliness. Bland food not properly cooked.

General comments: Spent 7 nights from 30th August to 6th September 08, with a family group of 14 people, including 2 elderly people, one 18 month baby and one 3 year old. Booked this hotel because it is advertised as a five star family hotel but was far from it. Although advertised that food and snacks are available almost all day at different times, in reality there was no food between 4 pm and 6 pm. On three different occasions we were told that quote "all food is finished and have to wait until the main restuarant opens" unquote, and this was asking for food for the toddlers. They couldn't even serve a sandwich. Rooms were cleaned daily but balconies were never even visited by the cleaners in 7 days. The AC was dripping in one room, and was never fixed while we were there. Not a single member of staff could speak in English, therefore, were unable to understand or help when we needed them. Being a regular traveller and staying at various hotels, I would not rate this hotel above a 3 Star hotel in any way.

I've been to Yasmine Beach Hotel in 2005 and it was wonderful. Very good looking, good service, good food and stuff. Moreover very good price. I was more than satisfied. Planing a trip to Tunisia this September and wanna stay in this hotel again.

We had many problems in the hotel, including a trip to the Spa which I found dirty, not at all relaxing and the staff didn't speak English to you, but just their language. I felt most unwelcomed by the Animation Team and some of the staff. I approached the rep on a problem we had experienced at the pool the previous day, she was very sympathetic and asked me to put all my complaints down in writing so that she could deal with it. I did, but nothing changed and the following day she totally igno ...

The all inclusive price should include alcohol and coffee wherever you are in the hotel and sunbathing areas. The staff at the Yasmine Beach were polite and attentive. I tried the spa at the hotel and can recommend the Turkish Bath and massage. Book this through the guy, Walid, who walks around the pool and beach area. He is lovely and although he works on commission, the price will be the same booking with him as booking direct with the Spa. Give the guy a break and make him smile, it's worth ...

I wasn't really expecting too much from the Yasmine Beach Hotel once I'd booked my holiday for two reasons, firstly I didn't pay very much and secondly, because of some quite bad reviews that I read. However, I am very pleased to say that my experience was totally different to the ones that I read about on Review Centre. My room was fine. Not 5 star but it was clean. I didn't have to ask for a thing! The food was different everyday and the desserts were fantastic. The mini club was available fro ...

All in all you cannot fault the place. The resort and the hotel is generally okay. I went on this holiday not expecting a great deal and I was right. I was pleased with the hotel, though I wouldn't recommend Tunisia it's a very poor country and they are very behind. If you are happy to sit by a pool all day and the bar all night, bearing in mind the drinks are not good, then the holiday is for you. If you like to do lots don't bother going. The coach left 45 minutes late to get to the airport ...

I have been staying in this hotel since 2002, and yes, I've had money and perfume stolen, but I've also been to Portugal, Italy and Spain and had the same! Top tip - pay for a safe at 1 Dinar per day (50p). We have never had food poisoning, and if you want bad food and bad rooms go and stay in old hotels within Hammamet. The staff were always friendly. So much so I married one, and we have been happily going back ever since.

Yasmine Beach Hotel was an experience if nothing else. Partial sea view! You could attach a mirror on the end of a very long stick and hang from every angle of the balcony and you still couldn't see the sea.5 star! yeah righto! more like 2. We made the unfortunate mistake of booking for 2 weeks all inclusive. The only good point is we all lost at least half a stone each when we got back. Millions of flies and great big black beetles with wings. We have decided to go somewhere more civilised next ...

Lovely character hotel with very spacious rooms with great views. Yasmine Beach Hotel is themed around original Tunisian settlers and has plenty to offer. In a superb location in a recently developed area of Hammamet, the beach is a few feet from the front door across a quiet road. Staff speak English as well as many other languages and favour the Brits due to our politeness and humour. It appears most people in Tunisia have a view of English being all Only Fools and Horses types. Hotel and ro ...

Yasmine Beach Hotel absolute rubbish. Went to this hotel for our anniversary and it was dire from start to finish. The corridors are dark with little or no natural light coming in and you get the odd 15 watt light bulb illuminating a whole corridor. The whole place is themed to resemble being inside a cave and from that point of view, it works. We changed rooms three times trying to find some thing half decent that was at least a 3 star. The food was inedible even for Tunisian cui ...

Where do we start? Just come back from a week at the Yasmine Beach Hotel hotel. We have (now) read reviews about this hotel here and on other sites and wished we had read them before we went. Our week was a nightmare. The other reviews only touch on the surface but we are compelled to let you know. Firstly it is a long old transfer to this hotel (it took us an hour and a half). When we got there, there were no porters to help with the luggage, it was late at night and we could not ev ...

Allocated the Yasmine Beach Hotel on arrival as our original had not opened. absolutely dire. The beer caused bad stomach's, food was uneatable, people were having money and items stolen from their rooms, staff were unhelpful, the whole place is very dark, put 5 people in the pool and it was full, during the time we were there on AI basis, 40 + people had moved to another hotel as did we. local rep was out of his depth, nothing we had booked for (specific) water sports/entertainment was availabl ...

Where do I start, the Yasmine Beach Hotel will be lucky if it lasts 2 years it is like something out of the flinstones, the food is appalling I had the runs every single day. They hardly speak a word of English, we met about 3 English families altogether, no English entertainment at all, cater only for Germans and Italians!!!! NOT ENGLISH! All the families which we met wished they had only booked for a week as it was that bad! The hotel is no way 5* IT HAS NEVER SEEN IT COMPARED to other hotels ...

Yasmine Beach Hotel: This has quite honestly been the worst holiday I have ever been on and the fact that you go on a misapprehension of the 5* rating, it was quite appalling. The fact that the weather was not good didn't help, however there was little to be satisfied with if English! there were very few things included, especially the alcohol, and food which was bland and repetitive. food is supposed to be served all day however, we took some food from a trolley at 3.52 which had a French sign ...
