Good Points: We went early in the season, so perhaps the weather let us down a little but the Djerba Palace Hotel is true 5 star luxury in every sense of the word.
Bad Points: Absolutely none.
General comments: Djerba is an island paradise for grown ups, not a drunken idiot in sight, rich in history and culture, the friendliness of the people is exceptional. Take a tour into the south of Djerba, which is an eye opening experience, in particular the Salt Lakes, Atlas Mountains and the Oasis. Cross the Sahara desert and you'll see a culture that pre-dates the Roman period. Two weeks is simply not enough to take in the rich and varied culture of this Tunisian Island, we'll go back and soon.
