I was pleased enough to purchase the machine 3 days before payday and spend my last. I don't regret it at all... Thanks for making such a great product for Soda Drinkers such as my family!

Love the machine -but for the older person or one with limited eyesight the dark caps with lines is hard to gauge if you are measuring the right amount . Maybe an alternative would be to have the amounts given so we could use a small measuring device instead of dark cap. Thank you for listening

I tried the flavorings that are offered by Sodastream but was not impressed. So I was at the supermarket and thought I would try the newest thing out (Mio) or other water flavorings. These are small and have the ability to flavor a little or a lot. And at about $3.00 I get many more bottles for the money. So give them a try. They do not have (soda) flavors but you can get fruit, tea and many other varieties. I am quite happy with the Sodastream but wish the flavorings were a little cheaper and better tasting.

I really like the ease of making my own flavored carbonated water. I also like not having so many bottles to recycle from bottled soft drinks and flavored water. It is economical also, cheaper than sodas and flavored waters. My only question is: I have installed my second CO2 canister. When filling a new water bottle there is no 'loud buzz" as is supposed to happen. Anyone...any idea why?

I like water and also the carbonation of a coke hitting the back of my throat. I started cardio and riding my racer bike (50 miles 2 days a week). Anyway - the marrage of plain water and the co2 from the SodaStream is awesome! Low Calories and I drink more water now and that carbonation hitting the back of my throat, NICE! When I bought the machine, I thought the cost of a replacement cynider of $30.00 was kinda high so I was going to return it. I tried it for one last time, just water, no flavoring and boooom, I got hooked. Now I can have co2 water any time of the day! Use cold water (I refreigerate mine) and I do two cycles to get the best co2 hit I like. Yep, I Like It ..... A Lot!

I have pop drinkers in my house and this is just great for us! I am saving big, and reducing the sugar intake for my little people as well as myself. I was pleased enough to purchase the machine 3 days before payday and spend my last. I don't regret it at all... Thanks for making such a great product for Soda Drinkers such as my family! A Mother of Many! Marie

Once in a while you can't find refills locally. Sodastream is sold at Kohl's along with flavors, but enjoy it for a brief time because they don't sell the refills. Unbelievable. I don't need to go to Kohl's again for anything. I normally get refills at Bed Bath & Beyond but of course they were out of refills. How does a store run out of refills? Don't they want to make future sales?

My kids give the machine 5 stars, but the flavorings two stars. I hesitated to buy the machine because of the flavorings having sucralose and acesulfame sweetners in them (splenda in the diet flavors). I didn't want my kids drinking that. At least I know what sugar is. We use it mainly to carbonate the water, filling the bottle below the line 4 oz, and then adding 4 oz of syrup made with Kool-Aid and sugar after carbonating. Eliminating high fructose corn syrup from their diet was my main goal, and we use alkaline water and a less refined sugar to make the syrup. My kids are satisfied with it. For my own soda, I used stevia instead of the sugar. Not great but good enough for a non-soda drinker. It's easy to use and to make. I haven't had to exchange the cartridge yet, but I'm hoping that it's just as easy.

We like it quite a bit. I like my soda with a little extra "fizz" (especially when mixing with drinks) and this makes it possible! Check out our full review which compliments this one - http://wp.me/p106i6-3Pq

Received my soday stream as a gift for Mother's Day. We love it. Save alot of money instead of buying sparkling water we use this. We do not use the flavors but I have tried them and think they are too sweet. I do not use the entire small samples when I use it. I use maybe half and it is sweet enough. I would prefer real sugar instead of splenda. All in all I save money and love the machine.

i bought mine from macys, which was a very bad idea, because they charge 30$ more than the actual company does, (which i didnt have to pay because of a coupon) and 2 of the sample flavors were ripped open and partially dried out, coating the inside of the box and the other samples with sticky syrup. other than that, the actual machine works perfectly. however, once you have to get the co2 bottle refilled, its a nightmare. they charge WAY WAY WAY too much to refill them, and the valve is designed to be impossible to be user refillable.

I odered a machine on Dec. 7th for a Christmas gift. I called on the 16th asking the status....Ah, well, we're runing late? Huh? I placed the order 9 days ago! I checked the tracking number 3 days later. They shipped it after I called! Rediculous! I've talked with other owners and this is their MO. Beware when rdering refills! Great product, lousy service.

Pros: easy to make your soda, your way----strong or weak, mixing flavors or single syrups as they are purchased, cost effective, NO heavy carrying soda home, space convience in storage of unlimited soda & flavors. Cons: video is a poor demo, the buzz never happens (well, once it did buzz, and when I removed the bottle, the entire counterspace was covered with overflow!) Conclusion: I'am keeping with the SodaStream, because the Pros outweighed the Cons. I played around with my machine until I figured out what worked best for me. For most of 50yrs life, I have been 100% soda pop drinker, always needingto drink more water. This SodaStream allows me to make a weaker soda, increasing my water intake, and still enjoy the wonderful flavors I love. The convience of space and carrying home small items are Heaven sent!!

We were disappointed at first the water didn't get very bubbly. My husband decided to "give'r" and carbonate away. It was only then that we discovered the real "buzz" sound. If you are having problems just hold it down. I don't know yet if it is just starting a new cartridge issue but we are now really happy and making seltzer every night.

Makes perfect sparkling water instantly. When added to juice, it makes the juice "sparkle", too. It is a little nicer than adding ginger ale to cranberry juice and adds no sugar. I personally don't like straight sparkling water, but a bit of flavoring, lemon juice or whatever turns it into a nice drink. I think this device will cure me of drinking cola.

G100: I picked one up at Bed Bath and Beyond for a discounted price of $79 (with 20% off coupon). Although the onsite sales rep was showing the flavors and offering samples, I was more interested in just sparkling water....no problem there! I learned quickly to be sure and seat the 1 liter bottle to the unit as I got sprayed pretty good. The second bottle went flawless. I will probably experiment with juices and my own "lemon water" concoction I've been doing for several years now. I will probably stay away from the flavors offered, as I'm trying to get away from soda pops in general due to dietary needs. For $80, this unit does the job quickly and painlessly! Worth the money. I recommend this!

Well, I've had this machine for less than a week, but so far, so good. I've only tried the root beer flavor, and also made seltzer water, and both turned out fine. My husband said the root beer was too sweet, so I'll use a little less syrup next bottle. I gave my daughter a SodaStream for Christmas, and she has tried the cola and the lemon-lime, and she liked them both, although my granddaughter didn't very much. I'm going to do a bottle of diet cola next since that's what I usually drink when I have a soda. We also drink a lot of seltzer, and it's just so easy to make with this machine. It's worth it just to have it for that. I like the fact that I don't have to lug tons of heavy cans or bottles home from the market any more, and it's better environmentally not having to recycle all those cans and bottles. I'm going to order some additional carbonating bottles so I can have other flavors in the fridge at the same time. One thing I can't understand is it says only to carbonate water in the bottle, but I would love to carbonate some fruit juices. I wonder has anyone had any experience with this? I'm thinking that the company just wants us to buy only their own syrups and flavorings. All in all, I'm satisfied.
