    I go through 2-3 litres of seltzer a day. Used to be I would cart home a dozen bottles from the grocery and then a few days later cart back the empties to get the deposit back.

    Now I place an order on line a couple times a year the supplies are at my door a couple days later. This could not be easier. Besides the time savings it is a definite cost savings as well.

    The flavored sodas are ok also. Not a big soda drinker. The Energy is a much better deal than the outragous prices they get for Red Bull and tastes no worse. Mix some of the citrus flavors with the Energy and get a drink similar to Monster.

    Good Stuff I have had this for a few years and I hope the service continues.

    I got this as a gift and I don't see the point. I have several soda siphons that I bought at various stores. Also got some at house sales and Craigs list. I make plain seltzer a liter at a time using individual cartridges, put some syrup in a glass, and spray in the seltzer. If I have a party, I make several and keep ice water on hand for refills.     The Soda Stream home soda maker is a nifty *idea* (which is why it gets two stars instead of one)- we used to go through liters of carbonated bottled water and now we can just make our own! However, there are a few problems. If you like soda pop, make sure you get the taster first - many of the flavors are not great.     I love the convenience of this machine.

    Being able to make my own soda and seltzer whenever I want is incredible.

    No more driving down to the store and being able to offer my guests so many different flavors is great

    I love my Soda Stream! I purchased mine at Kohl's (on a day when you can get 15% off everything), and I was also able to take advantage of Soda Stream's $20 off coupon...though I have not received my money to day and it has been around 8 weeks. I used to be10-12 bottles at a time 2 or 3 times a week at Trader Joe's, but got tired of lugging the bottles.     Soda stream support is HORRIBLE - really awful. I ordered exchange cylinders in July, didn't get them for 30 days - had repeated attempts to contact their customer service to no avail. Finally, I ended up with 6 cylinders, they have charged me twice - once for three, once for four, and they have added currency exchange fees to my credit card. I am researching how to file charges against them.

    Well, Soda Stream Drinks Maker is green - fewer wasted bottles and cans. That's where the good ends. Local "suppliers" have little or no product. I ordered online and when I checked on the order 11 days later I found it would take 10-14 days for delivery. After writing to lack of Customer Service about my dismay at the unreasonable shipping time I received a notice that UPS now has it and it will take 16 days for delivery. The cost will exceed buying it at the store for at least the first 200 ...

    SodaStream customer Service is the absolute worst. I would never buy another item from this company until they fix their problems. I ordered replacement canisters over 45 days ago and still have not received them. Calls to customer service result in no progress in solving my problems. They have no tracking numbers and cannot answer any questions. Tracking is only done by the central office which goes directly to voicemail and then never returns calls. I would think long and hard before ordering ...

    Soda Stream support is less than nonexistent. Clueless, non-responsive. Attempting to order refills is a painful and lengthy process, since they will screw up your order. That being said, being able to make seltzer in your home is a great thing.

    I thought a Soda Stream drink maker was a good idea until I received the product and my first refill order. The Soda maker is very flimsy and won't last for long. The carbonator refills are very expensive. Customer support is non-existent. You cannot find out when an item is coming as they don't provide tracking. They are very slow in filling their orders.     This has been the answer to our economic and ecologic dilemma. My wife and I love sparking water (I like an occasional soda pop as well). But the $2/liter and the glass bottles becomes very heavy when you live on a 4th floor apartment and when you consume 6 bottles per week.     I bought the 3 carbonator package from SodaStream as a Christmas '08 present for my husband, Peter. Big problem getting the 60L carbonator re-filled!! We are very unhappy with the product because when we bought it we purposely bought the 3rd extra cartridge so that we would not have to go without soda water while getting 2 carbonators re-filled. Now they will only accept a refill order of at least 3 carbonators????? Now they expect me to buy yet another one??? Now they insist on 3 minimum being ...

    Recently purchased Soda Stream Drinks Maker - great idea read some reviews and purchased but overall disappointed because the sypups need improvement. Suggest that you don't purchase at this point....
    Will try to recarbonate existing soda now.....

    Wanted a Soda Stream Drinks Maker since I was a kid. I'm not disappointed at buying one at 40. Better taste and can change the gas content when it takes your fancy.

    Bought a new Soda Stream Pure from Lakeland and I am really impressed. It is alot different from my old Gemini that I have had for many years. It has a chrome top, and looks great in my new modern kitchen. I can get my refils also from Lakeland and was able to exchange my old steel cylinder for the new aluminium ones. In my opinion everyone should have a Soda Stream, they are excellent value for money compared to buying soda water from the supermarket and you don't have to break your back carryi ...

    home made soda water from my Soda Stream Drinks Maker has less salt than shop bought soda and way less expensive. after going on a diet 2 yrs ago i now only drink soda water and no other fizzy drinks i love my soda steam and take it on holidays with me when we go. this would be my essential item to have if stranded on a desert island..lol

    The Soda Stream Drinks Maker is a great bit of kit WHEN YOU CAN GET REFILLS. I've had Sodastreams for 20 years for carbonating water from our spring but can't get refills any more, so my "Original" machine is now useless. Don't bother to buy one of these any more - you won't be able to refill the cylinder locally!

    I can NOT get hold of replacement gas cylinders!
    I have been looking absolutely everywhere for the "Fizz-on-Line" replacement gas cylinder.
    Can I find it? - NO!
    I feel that I'm now either forced to upgrade to a newer model, which costs a lot!! Or I have to throw away the whole drinks maker - made of plastic + throw away the empty gas cylinders!
    This is not good for the environment, nor is it good for my wallet!

    I would NEVER recommend anybody to by a Soda Stream - I think it is more hassle t ...

    I liked the style of drink maker, only downfall was the gas bottle refills, they seem to be non existent. I was quoted £34 for 2 refills direct from Soda stream, this included postage etc, I only paid £39 for the complete maker!
