“Dataflame Don't Care!”

I have been with this lot for quite a few years now and at the start they were pretty decent. In the last couple of years however their service has slipped and more recently vanished altogether, just like the email items I send out to my customers. Every time I contact them it's the same question, "can you try setting it to marigold.dataflame.com". It has been really bad for months and now I am getting certificate warnings when using the outlook client, it's not trusted. This isn't hard to fix, unless you are Dataflame. Dataflame I fear is now just another business in the game to make money, the customers are a necessary evil to be tolerated, a little bit.

Generally very happy with Dataflame, which I have been using to host a number of small sites for myself and friends. A couple of sites got hit by a brute force attack recently, which used up all the bandwidth and shut the sites down. This incident unfortunately coincided with my inability to log into the reseller control panel. I clicked the online chat support button, and tapped in my details. Less than 30 mins later I have regained access to everything and fixed the problem. Never used this feature before, but will definitely use it again. The support agent was very helpful and to the point.

Our overall experience with the technical support team at Dataflame has been really positive. Having our business domain and email with Dataflame, we have experienced occasional issues like servers being temporarily down or our email quota being downgraded by mistake. However, the technical support team's response time has always been instant and the issues have always been quickly solved with a helpful and friendly attitude. I have to point out their live chat service to be extremely useful and time-saving. Their email response time is also remarkably fast.

The online operation run by Dataflame is probably superior to anything on the Internet. I know of no other company where the ability to interface with a human being is so easy. I rate after service in anything that I buy on the Internet and likewise services too. Dataflame has been unfailing in anything that I have queried or ask for help on. This includes many questions where the operstors must have asked themselves "is this person serious"?

I've used a few hosts, and have had problems of one sort or another with all of them. I end up coming back to Dataflame mainly because of their very helpful support services - especially the online chat - which sorts stuff out in real time with people who seem to know what they are doing. As with all hosts, some of the technical stuff can be tricky and sometimes using the control panel they provide can drive you a bit nuts, but the service and support is good, and very good value. Thanks.

I have been a Dataflame customer for almost 10 years and I have never been anything other than delighted with the prompt, clear and coherent advice I've received from the Dataflame online live chat customer support team, not to mention their patience - my internet/website knowledge is limited to say the least and the short video tutorials they provide take me through any issues step by step.

The support guys are quick to respond via the chat facility and usually solve problems fairly quickly. However, I've suffered 2 hacks during my time with Dataflame where all six of my Wordpress webistes were compromised. Dataflame deny any breach of their servers and suggested to me that my 'plugins weren't up to date'. Each website was running a different theme with 14 character passwords (letters, numbers and symbols) and all went down simultaneously. I'm willing to entertain any theories that might explain this but my view is that their security isn't that great.

My emails wouldn't download but Dataflame support via live chat patiently sorted everything out. In the end he assisted me with remote access and set everything up for me. Fantastic service, great guy with great knowledge. Highly recommend Dataflame. We wont use any other supplier for our emails and hosting.
