I didn't have to wait long to get dataflame's attention. On twice occasions. Chat lasted at least 50 minutes long but they were determined to fix the problems I were having with our mail server. Got it fixed eventually. (read more)

I've been a Dataflame customer for many years now and today I decided my domains required Whois privacy. Dataflame charge £15 + vat per domain which is cost prohibitive for multiple domains, so I made the hard choice to find a new registrar who offered free Whois privacy. I then logged into my Dataflame client area to unlock my domains for transfer but couldn't see a way to do that. I use Dataflame to host my websites and the after care support is fantastic. A good example is today DS Jane was very friendly and quick and gave me clear explanations on how to cancel a domain I owned. She even offered to remove it for me as I was not sure how to do it myself. I was with Dataflame for about 7 years before I no longer needed the domain. In that time I have had several issues (mostly my own fault) and every problems has been resolved quickly and by excellent people. Never once have I been left frustrated or without an answer. I've been using Dataflame for over 7 years. The service is great; price point is competitive but the real beauty of Dataflame is the 24/7 online support. The support is very responsive & provided you are patient, they will address a lot of problems you may have, even on the low cost shared servers. Generally, the dataflame service runs just fine with no problems. But when there are problems (some of which are down to the user i.e. me!) the technical support guys are very efficient and very helpful in sorting things out. Before purchasing hosting services I did some research. I also used the online chat with Dataflame to ask a few preliminary questions and received very helpful answers immediately. I used the live chat function of Data Flame having yesterday purchased a domain name and hosting. I know a bit about computers but by no means am i technical. I input all the settings via the outline suggested by them for pop3 and smtp. I use Dataflame for internet hosting whenever I need hosting. Everything is simple and email is included whereas it can be an extra with some providers. Contacted DATAFLAME on another subject, resolved that issue and then advised of problem I was having with Microsoft support, microsoft were stumpted about why my emails would not send from microsoft mail in windows 8 . Microsoft wanted me to reinstall windows 8 such that I would lose all installed programmes. Microsoft suggestion to resolve was unacceptable. I was having problems with one of my add on domains which kept going to my main site rather than the add on one. The Dataflame techicians soon sorted it out with a couple of emails and it now works fine. We have generally always received good and prompt support from dataflame support team via the ticketing system. Lately we moved our mail boxes to an external exchange account and had problems using the PHP form mail from DF hosted pages. I got in touch with DF support and had an exchange of information back and forth and the team have been very supportive and helpful and resolved the issue which was a big relief. (read more)

Dataflame gave excellent support as I attempted to 'publish' my website content using Sitebuilder. Without their quick, positive and encouraging responses I might have given up. I've used Dataflame for 6 years and found them to be reliable and prompt when issues arise. Most issues I've had have been resolved within an hour or two. There are a few niggles I'd mention; particularly with regard to information provided; when I have had issues they have typically just fixed them (great!) but not explained what was wrong or how I could avoid such issues in future.
