    Good Points: None


    Bad Points: Poor advice
    We had to copy, in handwriting lots of information (!!??)


    General comments: Not happy with service at all. Used 'Mortgage Advice & Practice Ltd' in 2007 for remortgage. Charged us £2k plus for their services and we recieved poor advice. They recommended we take out a single premium mortgage protection cover of over £4k. These are frowned upon. We got our money back from the insurance company, but we are still paying interest as this amount was added to the mortgage.

    DO NOT USE! MAP are extremely poor value for money - not only do they take a proc fee they also charge just under 3k plus push expensive wills/life insurance/solicitors which they also receive kickbacks from. Lesson: always shop around - use moneyfacts and read articles.

    Fantastic service, we were both very happy and Mortgage Advice & Practice Ltd were the best by far of all the mortgage brokers we saw.

    I'd advise anyone with a mortgage to give Mortgage Advice & Practice Ltd a call. Everything was explained thoroughly and in an easily understood manner. The whole process was done speedily and efficiently taking care of all the necessary paperwork. The end result was a fixed low rate morgage over the same term and over £350 a month extra in my pocket
