I have had my Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting in Broom yellow since new (September 2002). I love it, it has never let me down, starts 1st time every time. It is a hard ride & you'll definitely notice potholes. It's surprisingly quick off the mark and super easy to park. Only problems I've had are the power steering failed after one week, which was fixed under warranty. The driver window grates terribly but works fine and it has done this for many years. I have replaced part of the exhaust &... (read more)

Good Points:
Cheap Insurance
Easy To Park in Tight Spaces
Cheap To Run
Quick Off The Mark
Ideal For First Time Drivers
sunroof
Electric Windows
Bad Points:
Clutch Cable prone To Braking
No Space in Back Seats Or Boot
Engine Noisy
Motorway Driving When Changing Down Thru The Gears
I would recommend the Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting to friends as its better looking than the cinqucento,Cheap to Run and Easy to Drive.

The Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting is an excellent little car, had mine for two years now, upset plenty of boy racers at the lights with its quick pull away, and those in there big old gas guzzlers, who dont like being past by something so small and so quick, its also very cheap to run , insure and tax, its a good work horse aswell when the back seats are down, and great for family outings to the town easy to park, easy to maintain and service , its a shame they dont make them anymore, if you... The Fiat Seicento Sporting is the best car. cheap, economical and lets me honest, a bit of fun. I've had my little yellow beast for 18 months now. When i came home and saw it parked on my front i was so excited. the best first car u could ever ask for. at only a 1.1 it still pulls away faster than any of my friends cars although to begin with i found the clutch and the brake a little hard to get used having learnt in a ford focus. amps, alloys and a decent exhaust is all you could really... Well have to admit last night was the best fun night for ages. My partners 2.0sri Vectra is starting to cost us a lot of money so we went to a garage and took the Fiat Seicento 53 plate for a drive. WHAT A HOOT!! Partner had work boots on and admittedly had trouble with the pedals but after handing it to me was screaming at me to slow down as I was frightening him to death. I couldn ' t stop laughing driving it funky, sporty and sounded a little demon pulling away. A couple of things need... (read more)

Generally a very good car, similar to 127 or the good old YUGO 55 (still made in Serbia for just over £3000, but you can't use in the UK). (read more)

I thought this Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting would be a great car, but I was wrong. I got the car, then a week later the gear box went so I had to buy a new gear box. Then two weeks later it cut out on me on the way to work, the water had gone, so I had to put more water in and then it should be fine, but in a couple of days it broke down on me again and I needed the gear mount sorting out and a new gear box again! Now I have got it back and it will probably break on me again next week. I... (read more)

My Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting is my first car and I had my eye on one in bright yellow, before I passed my test. It was sitting on the Fiat forecourt for 6 months but sold the day before I passed my test. My mum spotted another one exactly the same but newer and I loved it so we bought it. The funny thing was that there were some other people who wanted it as well but I was just about to take it on a test drive so they went away.
The car is pretty strong despite having plastic bumpers...

After having a Cinquecento this is my second Seicento sporting in broom yellow and I was very disappointed that Fiat stopped making them especially as they replaced it with the Panda, which in my book is really uncool looking. The Seicento has all the qualities that a girl about town is looking for, you can put it in any parking space, fit all your shopping in the boot which is quite a lot of shopping as you don't have to waste all your money on petrol as the fuel economy is fab. If they... (read more)

I LOVE the Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting, it's my first car and I've learnt to drive in it. I'm also going to take my test in it. A very nippy little motor, does 100mph easy(not when I'm driving though!)
The interior is cool, and looks really good. nice and sporty on the outside.
Bargain at £800 second hand too!

I purchased my 03 Fiat Seicento Sporting (steel grey metallic) back in February 05, and it has served me well! Travelling to Ireland and back with no problems.
The fuel economy is excellent, around 45mpg around town, and it is surprisingly quick for such a small car, it can easily hit 100mph and beat other 1.1 or 1.2 cars at the lights.
I recently added a one off sports exhaust, which has twin exit pipes either side of the back, and it sounds great, you should see peoples faces when I...

I just bought this Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting City car myself, and WOW! It's small, sexy, and the car shifts better then most other cars I've driven. To be honest, I didn't expect it from a Fiat, and a 1.1, but it's "SPORTING" really kicks in when you take it for a spin, a very fun car to drive and it won't let you down! (read more)

I recently bought a brand new Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting and it's absolutely great! It handles really well, and it's extremely nippy for such a little car.
Add to this the amount of extras you get - sports seats, central locking, anti-roll bar + sports suspension, body kit, alloys, a very cute rev counter and a great stereo - all for a very small number pounds and you can't go wrong!
Get one - you'll thank yourself!!!!

Hi there :) my dad has a regular seicento, and we also had problems with the clutch cable... He just bought and installed a regular cable, for the bigger cars ( the one in seicento is shorter) and installed it and it runs smoothly and didn't brake for a long time, and the clutch is also softer :) I hope it helps, try it! it's very cheep and i think worth trying... enjoy your little car :)
