Good Points: Good friendly customer service.

    Bad Points: High APR.

General comments: We bought a car through Yes CC in 2005 as we were getting married and needed a bigger car for family that were coming here. We originally were looking for a Vauxhall. They were very friendly and took us to the office where they talked over the paper work and explained to us all the details of the agreement. We made sure we understood all the jargon. They didn't press us to take out insurance with them, we just told them we want to switch from our existing insurance onto the new car. When we told them the car we wanted, they worked out that our budget for a car was not enough. They showed us what we can afford but none of the cars were want we had in mind. We saw a Ford Mondeo and we asked them about that. The person showing us the cars went through a great deal to try and negotiate with the finance manager to get us a Ford. In the end we were got it for less than our original budget, which was £209. Now we pay £189 p/m. We had a problem with the aircon in the beginning but the car was under warranty and they fixed it. They took our old car as part exchange, without even asking about the condition of the car, (and it was in bad condition!). Overall, they were very helpful and friendly and we are still happy with our car. We are halfway through our agreement without any problems.

I sent them a letter to stating I was terminating the agreement. They sent me a letter asking me what I ment, What part of "Come and collect your car I am terminating the credit agreement" didn't they understand.? anyway eventually they collected the car. They then sent me a letter asking for £1255, w ...

I bought a car from Yes Car Credit in October this year and it is nothing but trouble and the warrenty company does not want to know about it at all. They are now going to take the car back , but I can say I am not bothered with that as the car has not been used for over 2 months and is parked up in the garage. But the bottom line is they sell poor cars and they say they buy all cars on good faith and don't do any HPI checks. I found out that my car had been a Cat C Write off and was not even to ...

I bought a Rover 75 from Yes Car Credit which lasted 4 miles before the engine gave way.

Next day they gave me another one, disel, Mangaging Director of Yes Car Credit in Belfast was driving it, lovely, but since I bought it under 3 months ago I found out that the :
    Wheel Alignment was not done,
Head light Alignment was off totally.
Brake Pads worn down to bottom
Heater plugs not firing up the engine in the cold mornings

Fed up having to pay for parts for this so called new car, which ...

I bought a 1.8 Toyota Avensis from the Edinburgh branch of Yes Car Credit, and I would state that although I didn't initially go looking for a Toyota, I am more than happy with it.
I was advised on initial contact with the company that I would be able to put down a deposit of 350 and drive away that day. I requested either a Focus or Vectra as my car choices, but was told that I would not be able to get either of these unless I doubled the deposit. I was offered the Avensis, a Mitsubishi Caris ...

Brought a car from Portsmouth branch of Yes Car Credit. Treated me with repect and with manners. Fully explained all details, and referred to small print which is important from the text. People need to remember that They have guidelines, and we must read small print. Very good

I bought a Rover 618 from the Coventry branch of Yes Car Credit for my partner to use on the school run. The sales person talked us into this one by saying "that it was a good reliable car for the money". As we have poor credit, we felt that this was the only option open for use, and reluctantly decided to go ahead.

The only time that this car gave us no trouble was the day we got shot of it. The central locking broke after 2 weeks. The electric windows stopped working after 3 days. Th ...

I approached yes car credit in the middle of last year as I was desperate to get a car, however I was nervous about approaching the car dealerships for a new car as my credit scoring had in the past been quite low. So in a nutshell I was nervous of being refused and knew that yes car credit wouldn't turn me away.

I filled out the form on the internet and within 24 hours they eagerly contacted me and made an appointment for me to go into one of their stores. However, when the time came for ...

I went to see the Yes Car Credit Car Supermarket in glasgow, I sat down to find nobody had completed the call they were meant to, something to do with the brokers.
So I was told I could spend £186 a month and showed a selection of cars that come into that price range.
After looking at these body and mechanically unsound cars I was attempting to enquire about the price with no direct answer until eventually the salesman told me it depends.
He admitted that the price you will pay for th ...

Something told me that there didn't seem to be something quite right in my dealings with the Yes Car Credit Car Supermarket. Too many probing questions I asked were left unanswered, met with no response or met with jargon that was just meant to confuse or baffle customers.
Get them to tell you exact details, payments, total amount repayable & like I did, get them to tell you the history of the car, i.e. just where did they get it from. One 'advisor' I queried regarding where the cars came from ...

Hi, I went to the Yes Car Credit car supermarket around 2 years ago and came away with a peugeot 305/6.
The car looked fine on the outside and inside at first glance.
After owning the car for 3-4 weeks, the exhauste fell off when I was coming home from work, the central locking system broke, the front end of the car was not attached to the chassis properly, the footwell on both sides of the car would fill with water when it rained (this was summertime)
    etc.
I contacted Yes car telling them t ...

We have had our car from Yes Car credit for 1 year now. We have never had a problem with the car but the only finance deal we could get was £176.16 a month for 4 years.
We have managed to pay this each month and the company were very aware of our adverse credit history. Today we got an invitation from them asking if we need a 2nd car as we are good customers and they are prepared to let us have a 2nd car at low interest rates???? Surely this temptation will be to much for some people an ...

I approached Yes car Credit in Portsmouth for a car. I was approved to pay £185 per month (they never discuss total price) and for this was offered an 8 year old vehicle which I had actually seen bought at a local auction for £950, 3 weeks earlier. The total amount I would have paid was, over the 4 years of the agreement and including my deposit of £800. in excess of £10,500. When I queried this they said that I was not the sort of person they usually dealt with. There cu ...

I bought a car from Yes Car Credit, they told me that they had done a 125 ponit inspection on the car. I have had the car three months and within that three months the clutch has gone, the drive shafts, electrics and the exhaust have blown on it. I am claiming against them and wanting a full refund of all money that I have paid to them and also all of the money that I have spent on it getting it repaired which totals up to the amount of nearly £4000. I am waiting for a reply off them to s ...

I bought a car from Yes Car Credit in Newport South Wales 10 months ago. Since that fateful day, I have called the AA out a total of 7 times, and have had to pay £220.00 to be towed across London.

The gear box broke 3 weeks after purchase and not more than 9 months later has gone again.

The first time I took the car back with the gearbox, they repaired it in under 2 days, wow I thought great service. Driving away from the garage I went two miles and the car stopped. They had put the ...
