    Bad Points: None really.

General comments: Got the model Daisy Powerline 1200 today at a flera market. When I got it home and tried it, it wouldn't feed the BBs. When it was being cocked the hole in the barrel and the hole in the part that has the BBs did not line up. The part that the barrel slides into had moved foward a bit. Knocked it back with a plastic hammer, put a little CA glue on it and the pistol works fine now.

I like the long barrel. I like its' heft. I like the way it shoots. Very accurate. I would recommend it to anybody.

I got this gun for 10$ at a gun store, and it has lived up to everything I wanted. It shoots at 420fps holds 60 bb and you can get 160 rounds per co2(i get to full power mags of 60+60 shots). I shot a large bird with it at about 15 yards and it shot tight putting a lot of shot in a hand size grouping. It's powerful so you can shoot rats, starings, and stuff like that. Oh, the gun has metal grips so it's going to last a LONG time. as the merchant from Resident Evil 4 would say "it's a very nice ...

My daisy powerline wont load any bbs. it cocks and shoots out a puff of smoke everytime i fire it. the co2 seal leaked so i just cut up an old bike innertube in a little circle, no problems whatsoever with the seal.

The Powerline 1200 is relatively accurate for a low priced air gun and is very easy to use. Adding a scope to it would truly make that much more fun to use.

Purchased this BB pistol 30 years ago becuse it was an attractive pistol and had multi-shot capability. Unlike Crosman & Benjamin pellit pistols. Its brilliant with its rapid load with just a cock of lower lever.
Its is however poor in maintaining charge and you must turn the crank of the stock butt rapidly to prevent CO2 charge

This gun is a lot of fun. Careful at what you shoot. I shot a spray can that was half-full , it went ballistic, like a fire cracker, and it painted part of wall and a little of me while trying to stop it. These guns last for years. If you find one buy it.

Forgot I had it. Found it in garage and decided to see if it would still work? Hadn't touched it in five years or more. C02 cylinder leaked. Sprayed seal with Silicone lubricant. That fixed that.

Then put $9 (Daisy red dot aim point, not laser) sight on it from Walmart. Was amazed how well it shoots. It loads every time (hold barrel down at 45 degrees or more and shake a little).

Good power for an inexpensive pistol and accuracy is good enough (for me). Will group about an inch at 15 feet and ...

I traded for my Powerline 1200 without a manual, stuck it in the closet and forgot about it. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a package of CO2 carts and tried it out. (The guy had shown me how to load it.) First thing I noticed was how accurate it was. The previous owned had adjusted the sights and they were perfect. I have fired it about fifteen times and hit every thing I aimed at. I really like it. Would have given it a ten but no product is perfect.

I would recommend the gun to anyone who ...

Great gun. A great value for the money. Very accurate. The accuracy makes it well worth it.
Only gets about 40 full power shots per CO2 cartridge. Tried all make of CO2 cartridge, with the same results. Doesn't always load a bb when you cock it. Hind to find in brand new condition.

I like the pistol, still fun to use, and have a crud load of cans to shoot and co2 cartridges to use. Not to mention i have like 6000 bbs. so i think ill be good for a while. Though i dont appreciate the plastic grip, i wish it was either rubber of metal. but, what can you do. still a good gun, id let my children use it.

My research shows the Daisy Powerline 1200, a .177 caliber smooth bore BB Pistol, was made by Daisy from 1977 to 1995 and probably sold new for $25 to $35. It weighs 1.9 pounds, is a gravity feed and holds 60 BB's, about a 5" steel barrel, overall length is 11", cross-bolt trigger block safety, blade and ramp front sight, open adjustable rear sight, supplied with plastic molded checkered grips and for-end, has a claimed maximum velocity of 420 fps, powered by 12 gm CO2 Cylinders, will shoot a m ...

My dad gave me this Daisy Powerline 1200 when I was really young, I played with it and it was an awesome gun but I wanted an upgrade so I got a Crossman 1008 repeater, bad decision. I hated filling up those rings and the fact that you couldn't see where your shots went. For a while the Powerline was my secondary gun, until I noticed how easy it was to adjust the trigger pull. When you snap off the side of the handle to change the c02, there are 2 big springs, RIGHT THERE. One connected to the p ...

I hate to be harsh, but the Daisy Powerline 1200 is really the worst pistol I've ever had. It isn't made well at all, and when I pull the grip forewards it creeks because it doesn't fit on the gun nicely. The bb's rattle around, and they hardly ever get cocked in the gun. Trust me, I know a good gun when I see one, and I suppose for a real beginners gun it might be alright, but I have only used it once because it annoyed me. There are better pistols for this kind of money.

Like the other two reviewers, I have had my Daisy Powerline 1200 Air Rifle a long time. It has always worked satisfactorily, is a good performer, and very accurate. But, also like the other two reviewers, mine also loses propellant very quickly from a bad top seal, and it is unreliable on loading the BB's. You never know if it is going to shoot one or not. Best chance for success is to hold the barrel down at a 45 degree angle and "snap" the mechanism to chamber a BB. I guess after all thes ...
