    Good Points: great looker,small and light good quality pictures,
    great value


    Bad Points: heavy on batteries,


    General comments: this is my first digital camera. wanted a medium priced good looking digital camera and this fitted the bill perfectly. It looks very smart, very clear controls, picture quality with the 2.1 million pixels is very good. easy to download on to computer with supplied software optical zoom is excellent.bit heavy on batteries if monitor is used a lot. serial cable not as fast as usb but acceptable.

    The Olympus 990 zoom has everything I needed from a digital camera. It is compact, good looking and produces excellent quality images.

    As an amateur, but keen photographer, I was keen to try digital and this has been an excellent camera to learn on. Results were a little disappointing to begin with but since I have studied the manual in detail, the results have been fabulous.
