This was the best hotel in the costa del sol until in went all inclusive full of drunks on stag and hen nites no respect for other people staying their banging on doors and shouting 27/7 loud music and partying in the rooms all day every day we where glad to come home if you want a nice holiday don't go to this hotel stay well away all inclusive was the worst thing they ever came up with. We are a 65yr old couple and have just returned from a great holiday at the Hotel Bali in Benelmadena. Food was great loads of choice and well cooked. The salad bar was huge and fresh meat and fish on offer as well as veg and a tapas bar. The room was overlooking one of the pools and with a great sea view. Cleaning was spot on, and done every day. Hotel Bali in Benalmadena is extremely pleasant as long as you dont want to spend much time in your room! The food is excellent and very plentiful. The service within the hotel restaurant is beyond perfect, the staff are very helpful and extremley good with the kids too. The hotel pools are very clean and well kept. Hotel Bali has Good food, and plenty of it, something for everyone. Our second visit January this year so knew what to expect, ideal spot for the Benalmadena coastline and Marina with a wonderful seafront walk right into Torremolinos. We just used the hotel as a base for walks and afternoon sunbathing, yes, even in January. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Will definately be going again. We were at the hotel Bali in June it was great. Plenty of entertainment for kids at night and adults joined in as well. The staff were so helpful and the cleaners were in our room every day. We are going back for two weeks at xmas and new year and cant wait. The hotel is central for everything and close to the beach (read more)

Just back from Costa del Sol and had an amazing week at the Hotel Bali. I just cant describe how much fun we had there, the staff and entertainers were all really friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the night shows the most as the entertainment was hilarious! From 'Mr Bali' to Men vs Women and wild west competitions which were funny to watch as the members of the audience where part of the show as well! Breakfast was very good plenty of choice, dinner was Ok. The pools are clean and the hotel tidy, hotel staff friendly and rooms cleaned every day. Had a really good week at the Bali Hotel with my wife my daughter and two grandchildren aged 6 and 10 who enjoyed the pools and the disco the 6 year old enjoyed the kids club by the pool. We have stopped at the Bali some 15 times it is a brill hotel for families. Lots to do, staff great, food is a1, graeat choice of veg-salad -meat -sweets. Can get a bit noisy with kids but that's part of the holiday. It has a big entertainments&bar room you can go halfboard or self catering. Bedroom a bit small but only for sleeping in. Shops &bar's close by. If you are over 55 try the Albatros bar just over the road just 40 yards away. Serves good food and staff very pleasant. Free quizzes... (read more)

I go to Hotel Bali in Benalmedena every year for a week in December, then back to England in time for Xmas.
I could not find any thing to complain about, the staff are very helpful and all speak English, the food is very good and plentyful, so if you go hungry its your own fault.
Roll on December 2008.

Rooms were kept very clean, entertainment staff did an excellent job. Also found staff at hotel very friendly and helpful particularly the man who took your room number in the dining room. Food was very good, we will definitely stay here again.

Well, the hotel Bali was very clean and tidy the maids came in everyday to make the beds, so on. The Med Playa entertainers was great and very friendly, and so was all the staff there. They couldn't do any more for you. And the food was lovely. I thought it was great and I would definitely go back again. There wasn't really anything I thought was bad. A friendly atmosphere. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming, including bar staff and reception staff too. The entertainers made us feel very included and happy, which was a very important part to our holiday. It would not have been the same without them. The hotel was excellently placed, with good food and rooms that were suited to our needs, the maid service was really good and they were cleaned everyday efficiently. (read more)

Hotel Bali in Benalmadena is a very clean hotel, and I would recommend it to those with children as well as older people! There was a children's club every day of the week! Lots of bars, and there is one called The Bees Knees on the front, which you must visit. The hotel rooms were very clean. This was our third visit to the hotel, and we have already booked again for next year!
It is a fab hotel! There is a big hill in front, but it's well worth it!

The Hotel Bali rooms were dirty on arrival. The wardrobes were dropping to bits. It was just like a grotty bedsit. The room flooded because of a leaking sink, which was reported to reception, but they didn't want to know, so I had to fix it myself. I told the reps the morning after, but they didn't want to know either. They told me to complain when I got home. I first stayed in the Hotel Bali in Benalmadena when my son was 2 years old. We had a great time, and we only paid £157.00 for half board, which was quite a lot of money 24 years ago. We also oversaw the building of the new hotel at that time. The last holiday we took there, they had building work going on, but you wouldn't have known that, as there was hardly any noise. The staff are all very good, and they all seem stay with the hotel for many years. We are thinking of going back next year... (read more)

The Bali hotel in Benalmadena is the best hotel I have stayed in on the Costa Del Sol, and it is a great resort, even though it was Christmas. If you want to get away for Christmas and don't want to be reminded it is Christmas, then this is a great place to be. The shops are open on Christmas day, and I was sunbathing on Christmas day.
I went back the following summer and it was even better! I went in August and the food was fantastic again. I would go to this hotel all inclusive when I go...

We had a great holiday at the Hotel Bali in Benalmadena, and it was well organised by the reps and hotel staff. Never a miserable face, always smiling. The resort of Benalmedena has plenty to offer from the amazing marina to Paloma Park, which you see with all the animals and birds walking around freely, and it doesn't cost a penny to get in! Local buses run frequently to various locations and are very easy to use and cheap. If you like your home comforts, the resort is full of English bars... (read more)

I have been to Benalmadena three times and have booked to go again.
Cardiac Hill as it is called is not that bad at all. Try the hill at Puerto Del Carmen, and then you will know what a steep hill really is.
The Hotel Bali staff were all welcoming and friendly. The Thomson reps were very helpful. Meals at all times were excellent. No problems what-so-ever!
The Marina could do with another lick of paint, but other than that it is really nice to walk round, and in the evening when it is...

Benalmadena, Hotel Bali - Really enjoyed the stay at the Hotel Bali, climbing "Cardiac Hill" was a bit of a bind, but fun nonetheless. All tourist attractions within easy "cheap" cab fare distance including Tivli World, Aqualand, Cable Cars, Markets, etc. Highly recommend this hotel, and am looking forward to going back in 2006. Benalmadena, Hotel Bali - Had a great time at the Bali. There were 11 of us girls and we were called the Bali girls.
Would love to go back again and get up to mischief. Also liked the 24-hour square which at the weekend had a good buzz to it. The guy in the Bonanza bar is a real dish!

Hotel Bali is very nice, 2 separate pool areas, staff very helpful, good bar, reasonable entertainment programme. Studios very well appointed, half-board rooms fairly spartan.
Chambermaids did not service the studio all week, but reception apologised with a free bottle of wine and presentation glasses.
Studios would benefit from an oven and a kettle as there are only two electric rings and a coffee maker.
