    Good Points: Clean, friendly staff, good food & wine. Ideal location right on the beach with Etna steaming behind.


    Bad Points: No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.


    General comments: Sicilean buffet night is a must and so is the trip to Stroboli although the food on Stromboli is very expensive ~ 18 euros for spaghetti!! But the explosions from Stromboli in the sun set more than make up for it.
    Sun longers and parasol cost 14 euros but you did have your own stretch of beach and there were very few children so it was very tranquil.
    Take lots of high factor sun lotions because it is VERY HOT!

    Hellenia Yachting Hotel:
    Fantastic De-Luxe Room, spacious, well furnished, new towels twice daily, covers turned.
    Very clean, excellent decor, beautiful furniture throughout.
    Very helpful reception & restaurant staff. Bar service excellent too.
    Food choice very very good. If staying half board you can take the lunch option (3 course or less if you want it) any time you like & for six euros a day, the half board option is well worth it
    Very ornate decor and furniture.
    Ample sun beds on clea ...

    We stayed in August at the height of the season. The Hellenia Yachting Hotel is of a high standard and always clean. The main pool was in need of repair (tiles missing) The beach always clean and tidy and well looked after by the lifeguard (Mario). The reception staff and house keeping staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were the opposite. We found them rude and arrogant. When we complained we found the reason why. The maitre de was so rude it was unbelievable!!! This matter only resolved ...
