Good Points: The family were so friendly - so hospitable. The service was excellent. At night the atmosphere was that of a party! Such vivid memories... limoncello, cotto vino, biscotti; singing Italian karaoke the beautiful setting and convenient location for seeing the surrounding area.

Bad Points: There truly were none!

General comments: We visited Il Limoneto in October 2005 with another couple and loved it! They were extremely friendly and hospitable. They recommended a number of places for us to visit that it made our continuing trip through SIcily very memorable. Our suites adjoined the lemon grove and were spacious, spotless and private. The food was some of the best we had - and cooked outside in the 'patio kitchen'. We were made to feel so welcome! In May 2007 we had a chance to return to Il Limoneto, but only for a visit. We were remembered! And we had the chance to dine with many friends in their lovely new dining room. We were so happy to see the expansion and apparent prosperity of this dear family. We often think of our stay there and will never forget it.

Limoneto is a nice and quiet place ,clean and well kept. The owners are as helpful as ever always ready to help the guests. The place has mantained the charm of a country house. It is not a hotel, but a real Sicilian house open to travellers.

If you are looking for a peaceful place, not too far from the action in Siracusa and Ortigia, try the Limoneto. My friend and I just returned from a wonderful trip in Sicily, and decided to stay there for two nights. We had a clean, good-sized double room (#8), which was private and over looked the lemon grove. It was around E90 per night. We spent the extra E20+ for dinner (drinks were extra also), and we were so glad we did. The food was excellent! The first night we were there, we were ...
