Good Points: I liked how you could build up your army's.

Bad Points: Sometimes it didn't seem like lord of the rings that much, and I was unhappy with the graphics and picture wasn't that good for my standards.

General comments: I think this game has been quite successful and I think it could be improved, however overall Lord of The Rings: Battle for Middle Earth was a good game.

Voices can get annoying and you can save Boromir and kill Lurtz but he comes back later on in the game. Cheats would make the game more fun.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth is a game about the Lord of the Rings and the character's battle for their home land Middle Earth. (duh). You will get to play as good or evil. There are 3 areas of the game: Campaign, Skirmish, and Multiplayer. Campaign is when you play a series of battles with you're army following the story of the Lord of the Rings, or if you are on the evil side, creating you're own plot (to an extent). Skirmish is when you are playing a random battle being ...

The first level of Lord of The Rings: Battle for Middle Earth starts out with you playing the Fellowship, while guiding them through Moria, this is a good experience that should not be missed. The game progresses from there, to the battle between good and evil at key points in the story such as Minas Tirith and Helms Deep, all of these points add up to make a very interesting and enjoyable game.

Battle for Middle Earth is a LOTR real time strategy game based on the movie? Oh yeah!!
Based on the movie (I just said that) you control the armies of middle earth and fight through some famous battles such as Helms Deep and the Battle of the Pelennor. Up to 300 units on screen (not confirmed) plus the ability to use your surroundings such as castle traps, it's gonna be 1 hell of a ride. The members of the fellowship are present and are invincible (not confirmed) and so are the many creatures ...
