I bought the Aprilia Rally 50 purely to go backwards and forwards to work on as it's a lot cheaper than taking the car.
In the 9 years I've had it the only problems I've had are a couple of new exhausts, brake pads in the front and 1 new tyre.
The only thing i would say against this machine is it can be a bit scary in very wet or frosty weather.
Overall it is ideal for what I need it for.

This is a good fun bike that has only had a TT exhaust and been de-restricted. The bike I quick when you get an exhaust and de-restricted it, good brakes, exceleration a lot of Yamaha Aerox part will also fit this for example I have now go areox breaks clutch an air filter.

Its overall an OK bike, just needs more power or a push. Mine has now power taking off, takes about 10 secs to pick up some speed also only does 30mph, any one got and answers why is happening?

I brought my first aprilia rally about a year ago and after 8 months i had a head on collision with a car this kind of put my bike out of action for a while as i could never raise the money to afford a new one. However i found a new one for only '£100 and i am working on repairing it right now, just a little tip for anyone that wants to resray their bike i would leave it unless desperate as it is a pain is the ass!! Overall this bike it a great ride and i would never trade it for any othe ...

my first bike and its quick and after we strapped a g.p.s to the pillion seat discovered it does 102 miles on a full tank which is pretty good in my opinion. i have used this bike in some horrible conditions and in some horrible corners and its not really given me any problems. wing seems to move it a fair bit and the rear wheel tends to lock but just squeaks and hardly fish tails. the tyres didn't seem to like my local dual carriage slip road at 40 odd mph and i low sided it but those heavy mir ...

I have a V reg Apirlia rally 50 that I bought, it was quite cheap off Ebay. for a 50cc it is pretty quick. first off the line at traffic lights, fairly good handling and a high ride height, great little bike.

Overall the Aprilia Rally 50 is a very good and reliable bike I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend it is a fast bike when derestricted and I wouldn't of wanted any other bike other than this!

This was my first project bike, it handles great, rides great. I spent nearly £600 completely modifying it, and it appeared in a scooter magazine! I had just finished building it and a week later I took it out for a ride, then some car driver on her phone crashed her car into the back of me at a junction at 40mph and wrecked it.
Fantastic bike anyway, I recommend a technigas derestricted exhaust, and Mallossi red sponge air filter for it, thats about all it needs performance wise.

I bought this Aprilia Rally 50 scooter about two years ago. I hardly rode it and then I saw a nice Suzuki RF600 and bought that. Consequently the poor old Aprilia got neglected! After 18 months being laid up (outside with no cover), all I had to do to get it going was get a new battery, and the old girl fired up. Now I would call that bloody good! The carb wasn't even clogged up.

Mine is derestricted and goes about 45-50mph. Not bad for an air-cooled 50, and it also blasts up hills with gay ...

I got this Aprilia Rally 50 scooter for my 16th birthday and I was chuffed to bits. I've ridden on most terrain and I tell you it handles excellently. As another person said when roads are wet it is a bit slippery but not that much. The design of the bike is great as well as T have the 1998 vesion air cooled. Search on Google to see what I mean. I get great respect from everyone at school coz it looks so good compared to other lads. The bad is like I said the fuel tank it holds just under a gall ...

I got an Aprilia Rally 50 AC scooter as a birthday present. It doesn't have the high cost of most of the modern 50cc scooters, but it sure looks like it with its horrible nose (although this won't bother you when you ride it). It has good handling, the seat is very comfortable, and the brakes are pretty good, despite the fact that it has a drum brake on the rear.

The Rally can be driven both on road and on terrain. It had off-road tyres when I got it, and still has them. It grips well on wet ...

I had the bike for about 4 months until it got stolen. It is a very good bike. It is quick, and handles well, but the wheels lock very easily.

I do think it looks really ugly, but overall, a good bike!!

I got this Aprilia Rally 50 scooter as my first bike and I thought it was cool as it worked mint in any area even on rough terain but it was heavy as heck. It is pretty fast compared to others but when I stop or get to the lights its realy heavy and tires me out. Good bike though they should make a new version.

The problem with this Aprilia Rally 50 scooter is the wheels, I bought a new pair, to see if it was the ones ive got that were the problem, no difference. I've had this bike for 3 yrs now and I cant believe how well it grips to snow, dirt better than most scramblers. !!!BUT!!! when it comes to riding on the road in even slight wet or damp conditions the wheels slide all the time... I thought maybe it was just me, being too hasty with it, so I took it to a track day and let other people have a go ...

I bought the Aprilia Rally 50 scooter on friday last week for 300 quid. its done a fair few miles for a 50 nearly 20,000 km the previous owner abused the hell out of the bike so it's in need of some serious tlc, i'm just using it to get to work and as soon as I get some money together its going to need a lot of work doing to it. For example the air filter box is zip tied on there are no bolts holding it on at all. theres a funny rattle coming from it somewhere sounds like the centre stand i hope ...
