    I smile everytime I ride the Piaggio B500. It handles like a proper bike, better than my GPZ500 used to, stupid acceleration - twist and go really does mean go and a fantastic engine noise from the the 500cc single cyclinder 4 stroke. Happy at 95mph on the motorway and despite the weight good in traffic. Comfortable seat. Great bike.
    Underrated and undervalued, why on earth have Piaggio stopped making them?

    I am an adept, and take great pleasure in riding those small country roads on summer evenings.

    I highly recommend the Piaggio B500 scooter.

    Why on earth did Piaggio stop making the Piaggio B500? It enjoys motorcycle handling, is good value for money and is a joy to ride. I've already fixed the rather noticeable acceleration lag and I'm sure Piaggio could reconfigure the under seat storage to make it more useful.
