I have had my silver gilera stalker for 10 years, yes 10 years, i have never had a problem with it. its had a new battery and the speedo has stopped working, but it starts and runs every day. in fact ive just brought a 57 plate one and hope to have another 10 years of good service.

My gilera stalker will do 51mph and the only upgrade is a technigas exhaust. It has very quick acceleration. It is a mint starter in all weathers and always starts on the starter motor.
Would reccomend to everyone and anyone. Fast, Good handling, very reliable

I bought this bike for a year ago and im still not sick of driving it :) it has so good road abillitys and so reliable. I can go nearly as far as i want on the backwheel and even the front wheel isnt any problems ;) The acceleration original still are surprising good. The look isnt the best but it has gotten a RAW look :P Very good bike for the money and it beats all Yamahas/Mbk's and speedfights and such. Its the Italjet dragster and runner 180cc that beats it !! The best bike on the market to ...

Good acceleration great chunky wheels can do wheelies from 1 side of a car park to the other 48 mph on the clock with just the variator ring out and looking for jets to up-jet to put a pipe on.
Good all round bike very nippy and good on top-end good bike.

Had my bike a year, done so much to it it will hit 50mph up steep hills and 60mph on flat. Its had bigger jets, boost bottle, 8.5g rollers, sports exhaust, fully de restrictedthere great bikes and defiantly head turners because they ain't common !

Gilera Stalker is a very fast very reliable bike. I can do 60mph without tuning. apart from the exhaust it's a good bike. Some electrical problems, not a very good looking front end.

you wont be disappointed, but a Gilera DNA 125 might be next on the list for me.

Good engine build. Very good starter in all weathers. Do the front forks of the skp fit this bike?

I have owned my stalker for a year and a half and it's fabulous! I've never had any problems, only the odd service that requires new pads and spark plug. Starts on the coldest morning, on the electric start first time and on the kick start. The bike is extremely nippy and it has very good acceleration and in no time at all its hitting 40mph +++. when I'm stopped at the lights I always get looks from the other riders as Stalkers are quite rare and look AMAZING. The seat is very good and keep you ...

I have owned my Gilera Stalker for just under 2 months now and I think it is an incredible scooter. It was the first on road scooter I owned and I do recommend the Gilera to first riders. It is very reliable on the road but on mornings or when it's wet when I stop at traffic lights sometimes it stalls.
This may be because the engine is cold I have not long since passed my Compusary Basic Training test and am now in the process of buying a Gilera DNA and selling the Stalker.

Had the Gilera Stalker for about 3 months now, got it after writing off my Piaggio typhoon. Find the Gilera a much neater little bike, looks better, and has very good acceleration. Very nippy and at my school is the second fastest moped in the playground (beats the Katanas and Speedfights), but not the Italjet Dragster! Fully de-restricted goes about 56mph on flat ground. just had to blue neon strips fitted underneath, improve the look of this stylish little number. Overall very good bike would ...

When I went to my mate's area to get my Piaggio Typhoon fixed there were a big group of other boys with scooters riding up and down the road hitting 40mph+. That day I rode a Gilera Runner VX125, Gilera DNA 50, Piaggio Zip 50cc and this other ridiculously slow Gilera Stalker 50. When I mean slow I mean this bike was derestricted with a sports pipe, made the most noise and was the best conditioned bike there but it still struggled to top 45 mph. The standard Zip left it on the pull off, and the g ...

Had this Gilera Stalker Scooter for about 4 months now and can say i was disapointed at first. Although quick acceleration the bike would go to 30mph! when d-restricted its crazy, No time at all im at 50mph rising, Very quick and can beat Nrg's, Speedfights, katana's from start to finish. Has digital clock which adds a nice finish to a very tidy bike. The performance is great considering its only been d-restricted!
