onto my second mito now my 1st was a mk1 mito eddie lawson rep ran brilliant used it rebularely never missed a beat until a young lady decided her corsa looked better into the side of it unfortunately it was a write-off. i then sold the bike to some one who was to put it back onto the road and i bought another mk1 which is now getting ready to be sprayed and put back onto he road... few bits of advice used the best 2stroke oil, i used castrol about 8quid for a ltr bottle and it was qite light on oil another piece of advice great for short burst of spped but long distance take it easy, mine over heated once or twice other than that cant go wrong. hope this helps you too decide...

The Cagiva Mito has a very high power engine, good brakes from brembo and it is an Italian bike.

Mate, to anyone who is reading this, the Cagiva Mito 125 is an awesome bike. Run it with the best 2 stroke oil you can find and your away boys!! Rides like a dream, sounds like a dream, looks like a dream, Cant fault it, if looked after its the ride of your life.

Absolutly love my Cagiva Mito. Had two now they do cost money if nt looked after regular service lubricate everything and the most important thing of all use the best 2-stoke money can buy from were you live, if looked after you will nt only have a great reliable bike you will get good money when you come to sell so buy 1 best 125 on the road by far my opinion. Fastest 125 on rd, they hold money if looked after, good brakes an stick well to rd, are reliable if looked after right.

The Cagiva Mito is a fast sexy bike

Don't get one unless you've got cash, then great go get one. When they run they're amazing.

An RS faster than a Cagiva Mito? hmmm maybe the RS125 against the Mito 50 perhaps. Have a Mito for 2 years now, expensive rebuild due to lack of attention by previous owners, now 7000 miles further, apart from my speedo cable (but who cares, any Mito driver knows its pointless having one, always going too fast) no problems.

The Cagiva Mito is not as good as my 08 r125 on fuel, comfort, rideability, looks, up hill power and of the line but I admit the cagiva mito in a straight line race no other 125 could beet it.
Had one broke down 7 times in a month I took it to my dads motorcycle shop and his mechanic fixed it then it ran great for a couple of weeks then the clutch went nothing to do with my riding as I have been riding motorbikes for 8 years (motor x) I ride it I have rode my new 2008 Yamaha yzf r125 the same an ...

This is an amazing bike for the money you pay even when my bike was standard I loved riding it I think it has something to do with the superbike look that it has. [If only it had that performance].

Very nice to handle, lovely for a young rider that wants the GP experience, better than any RS in all way's. Part from money that is.

For such a small bike you get a lot of nice moments with this bike and it's also good for learning experience. Very easy to take care of such a bike; easy to add a couple of features yourself without technical help.
It's not the best bike, but certainly the best 125cc there is. I tried a couple of other 125's, but this one is the top. You can follow bigger bikes easily (250cc of even 500cc), without pushing the envelope in normal circumstances.

Had my Mito for 3 years and has run perfectly throughout after I had broken her in. Best 125 around easily beat most boy racer cars and usually a RS 125. When you first start her up let her warm up to about 65 deg then let rip.

Had for two years only broken down once which was my fault as I crashed it. Very reliable bike if you take care of it and as long as your not a boy racer. Very fast and looks the part.
Good bike buy if you get the chance.

Overall the Cagiva Mito is an amazing 125cc sports bike real eye catcher but reliability isn't the best.

I've had this bike for over a year now, and it's the best and the worst thing I've ever owned. It's great when it works, and it is great fun to ride, and although I'm 24 and 6ft tall, I don't look ridiculous on it!!

Although my Cagiva Mito has spent a bit of time off the road, this has made me learn how to perform basic maintenance and repairs myself (after spending too much money in garages), which is great, as my Mito's taught me competency in engine/carb/oil set up.

    I can't recommend t ...
