Good Points: Heat up quickly and give fantastic shine and straightness

General comments: I got these GHD's as a present and are the best straighteners I've ever used! They heat up really quickly and leave my hair soft, shiny and of course perfectly straight. If only a girl could rely on everything like I can rely on these!

I had tried soooo......many other brands before GHD and have to say I would buy GHD for life now. For polka straight hair there is no other straightener like GHD! They cost a lot but are worth the price although I would like them to design a portable model.

GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners are a brilliant product as the technology is bang up to date. High quality ceramic based plates that heat up in seconds and are incredibly smooth.I recently used another brand that did last 6 years, but they did pull on the ends of my hair. Quick heating - I used babyliss, remington, vidal sassoon... no comparison, the effect is fabulous, very easy to use.
GHD is a top product. I have also used the thermodynamics products,they are very good too. I will recommend the MK4 styler to anyone.

I've had my GHD's for ages now they are fantastic, I only have to go over the hair once to avoid burning it like you can with other straighteners which you have to keep going over and over your hair with. They are expensive but I think they are worth it. My hair is left shiny and feels soft. My sister has got quite thin hair and she says they are too hot for her hair but for me they are great. All my friends use them.

Having very thick hair i rely on my straighteners to tame my mane! GHDs are definitely the best in the market.
I did own a pair of the old style ones which had a reputation of being unpredictable...sadly they did break after 2 years BUT i bought a new pair and GHd have set the pace with their new models. They bleep when turned on, bleep twice when ready and even turn themselves off when they havn't been used in a while...
They are a slightly altered shape to the old model which makes them idea ...

I love GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners, I've had them for nearly two years now and they are still working just as good as the first day i had them. They look good aswell. They are a very high price for what they are but i think that is just because of the brand.

I owned a pair of Remington Wet 2 Straight wide plate straighteners, which straightened my hair beautifully and made it lovely and smooth, with flat hair and straightness that lasted until my hair got wet through. When these straighteners died, I decided to buy a pair of GHDs - apparently the 'best straighteners on the market' - so I'd heard. So I went for the GHD MK4 salon-style, with a wide plate (as I have got long, curly, thick hair).
My first impressions of the GHDs were good - nice wide ...

GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners is the best thing that i ever invested in, ghd always gives me good hair days and I feel its a brand that can be trusted... There are many styles that can be made with the ghd and it adds a lovely shine to the hair.

When I opened the box, there contained a DVD on how to use the product, and 2 booklets on Saftey Tips and other products from the GHD range.
I plugged into a plug socket and turned it on, there was a beeping sound and the LED went red. Literally a few seconds later...from cool to hot..it made another noise..which indicates its ready. GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners - I wrote to the company and got a seemingly 'standard form' printout as a reply - when I pursued the matter and wrote again I got a letter this time explaining that they prided themselves on the high quality of their goods and that my irons were simply worn out and now obsolete. I didn't get much use out of these expensive irons and they were just outwith the guarantee when they gave up the ghost. I would not buy any of their products again.

Generally I think GHD's are the best. They are used in most salons so must be. Although there is a bad point I can think of, mostly good points! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Straighten even the most curly hair...
Long lasting results - Does not fall out after 2 hours...
Now found in most toilets in big clubs!!...
Swivel leads!! And they are long....
Make fantastic curls, however you want them...
Hard wearing, go on for years...

They heat up quick quickly, they are small so you can take them everywhere, the are amazing at straightning your hair, they are great value for money, they are simple to use.
i love my ghds and i couldnt live without them i take them on all my holidays and basically everywhere with me!

I'm on to my second pair of ghd's (in the space of 3/4 years) and they have decided not to work! I don't wrap the wire round them when tidying up etc, they've just stopped working, for no apparent reason, I've checked the fuse etc, I'm miffed to say the least - I've spent a lot of money on them in the past, and so won't be purchasing them again!
