I had 2 straighteners before, by far the GHD is the best 1 for me. i have such damaged hair but after i straighten with this thing. Wow.. incredible result! Love it alot.. I look just like a superstar right now! Thanks to GHD :)

************************* BEWARE WHEN BUYING GHD'S ON GOOGLE *******************

ANY WEBSITES THAT ARE SELLING FOR AROUND £35-£60 ARE SELLING FAKES ... GUARANTEED

I HAVE SPOKEN TO GHD AFTER MINE HAD BROKEN THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY AND DO NOT PERFORM THE SAME AND ARE UNSAFE AS THEY HAVE NO CE SAFETY CERTIFICATES.

SPEAK TO GHD AND YOUR LOCAL TRADING STANDARDS OFFICE AND THEY WILL BACK THIS UP.

Whenever you buy a GHD straightener off Google, you cannot rely on what the websites tell yo ...

My Remington gold plate was much better than the GHD, my hair use to acually shine after i used that, however i thought i was upgrading by changing my sraightner to GHD, however, now i realized that i made a big mistake. The GHD straightner is good for afros and propa thik and curly hair, it only straighterns them though, it doesnt actually give u a nice shine or anything. I brought mine from House of Fraser, and i really want to return it. Your beter of buying Remington, gold plate. :D

I have been using the GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners for over a year.
I have used many brands but I found that the GHD is by far the worst for my hair. My hair had become brittle, thin and dead looking and would no longer stay straight and the ceramic does not glide smoothly through my hair so my hair gets pulled out and i now have an amazingly large amount of regrowth spiking from the top of my head.
Just incase you think this is due to me straightning my hair for many years, i swi ...

I absolutely love GHD's they are the best straighteners that I have ever had, I have had them for about 2 years now and haven't had any problems with them they are really easy to use whether your straightening or curling. They leave your hair really smooth and shiny especially when you use the GHD hair care products. They leave your hair how you styled it for hours and hours. I am sooo glad I bought them.

I have two pairs of GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners. A pink limited edition one and black pair. The pink paor i had first then a year after my mother in law bought me the black ones. The black ones were not as hot as the pink ones so i used the pink ones. After about six months the pink ones broke as the light doesnt come on and the black pair now have done the same. Both out of warranty. Black ones used for only 6 months. I think it is the cable. I refuse to buy another pair as alto ...

Had my Professional Ceramic Hair Straightenersfor 3 years.

I'm of Indian origin and my hair is thick, frizzy, full of tugs and wirey. it's all sorted with these straighteners. hair is smooth, silky, tamed and straight. the only problem is it takes an hour to straighten but it's probably cos my hair is unruley. i've got a genuine set of GHDs.

the only thing i would say is that the hair begins to get brittle and break. it's a small price to pay when you see the unstraightened version. ...

I have owned the GHD straighteners for about two years. They cost me around 99 pounds and I found that overall they were really decent straighteners. I always found that were easy to use and gave me incredible results. However when dropped from a height the wire in the straighteners came loose, and I had to get them replaced. Despite this though, I would recommend the GHDs as they are extremely easy to use, especially if you can find them from different website selling them much cheaper.

My second pair of authentic GHD ceramic hair straighteners have just failed. 1st pair lasted 18 months 2nd pair just over 3 years. Only used for about 10 mins a day. I sent them for repair and after a couple of weeks I had to ring GHD to find out if this was possible. Unfortunately not so they are now binned. They are overpriced, poorly made rubbish and I won't be buying another pair.

I have had my GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners for about 3 months. At first I thought OK this thing works really good, but I also though WOW this thing gets way to hot for my hair. Everyone told me that this is how it worked and it conformed to my hair. Well it sure did conform. My hair has now been so damaged from using this that it will take a year to get it to grow back. I never had this problem with my old flat iron in which I controlled the temperature and could set it lower ...

I have been using GHD Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners for couple of months now and they are simply amazing! i've just been reading the reviews here stating that alot of the ghd's have blown up etc. i think the first thing u guys have to do is to be sure that the ghd s u bought were authentic. my first pair wasnt, and i found out after a friend tried to register my ghd s for me. if ur ghd blew up, chances are they are fake and u should go get them checked. if they are authentic, it will u ...

I would definitly recommend the ghd professional hair straighteners. I have long curly hair, frizzy in places & it only takes me about 15 minutes to straighten all my hair. After I wash & condition my hair all I do is dry it with blow dryer & use ghd straighteners & within about 15 minutes my hair is lovely & straight, smooth & silky & it stays straight for ages. This is a great product & worth every penny.

Always thought this item was the bees knees and three years ago splashed out and bought my first one. At well over £100 it was a big decision and I couldn't tell my parents for ages! I was very disappointed when after about 12 months a fault developed and the irons stopped working. As the guarantee period had expired i had to do with a cheaper make and it was then that I really appreciated the quality of ghd. and couldn't wait until I had enough cash to buy a replacement. i was able to do ...

I've gone through my fair share of hairstraighteners due to my thick curly unmanagable hair! GHD's are by far the best ones. They are so versatile and I can do any hairstyle I want. They double up as curlers which produces really nice curls. you can create waves or you can go for the standard poker straight look. AMAZING.
