Bad Points: If I'm honest nothing its a plain old simple top notch moped!

General comments: Excellent stlye, I mean look at it. Rides so good, if you were to buy one I can guarantee you won't be disapointed! Anyone who's looking for a good looking ped with all the works then this is the one for you!

Love it; bought mine second hand '01 de-restricted; I wouldn't trade it foir the world. I wouldn't trust it on a long journey; but for short distances (30kms) its a beauty. Get second hand and have someone check it over; then its best value for money!

Had it from new (2000) it still goes at 55 60 down hill- de restricted with Doppler SR3 exhaust, Pollini variator and kevlar belt. An excellent bike- still looks new!

Brought my Yamaha Aerox R 06 Plate, £1250 second hand, mint condition, derestricted and out ran my mates Aprilia RS 50 which has sports exhaust, 3g rollers, sports air filter etc. Out ran on a straight, does 50 on a flat 60 downhill. Normal exhaust and rollers.

I put a Doppler exhaust on my Aerox and had it fully derestricted, it done about 70 mph but then it accelerated really slow so i put my old exhaust on. it now does 50mph and i am happy with that because its still fun to ride and accelerates fast. i have never had any problems with my Aerox, really reliable!

Had mine for 5 years and clocked up 10k miles, derestricted from the showroom and does 50mph easily enough. Only problem I have had is that brake light keeps sticking on. I live in Jersey where the top speed limit is 40mph! so Im not gonna bother with a bigger bike, I would have loved to have bought another brand new one of these, I have seen the later model and don't think it is as nice looking.

I bought this bike for use to commute, as well as other inner-city rides. It has met my needs very well and I am very happy with the bike. The only problem I ' ve had with it (only time it wouldn ' t start) when it had been out in the rain. This was, however, not normal rain but more of a 'rainstorm' in Bergens classical style. Streets were flooded etc. the bike seemed to have gotten moisture somewhere in the engine or carburettor. After replacing the spark plug it returned to normal. (On a bad ...

Don't get it! If u are looking for a 50cc and want to spend about £1000 don ' t get this ped I've had mine for 6 months and poor acceleration people saying it goes 50-60mph are lying 40mph max if you want a bike that looks good and fast then get an aprilia RS 50 fantastic.

I have had my Yamaha Aerox for 2 years now, bought it for '£1000, it had only done 1400 miles and was a year and a half old, great value for money i think. It has never let me down. It goes 50mph easily, 61mph is the fastest i have gone.it was derestricted by first owner who i bought it from, all in all the best 50cc moped you can get.
