Hi, I have purchased a neos 100 it had not been registered so it is on a 09 plate, Nice little bike all round, but as far as top speed goes it will do about 50-53mph max which if using on "A"road it does not really keep with the traffic so all the lorry's go past you (not good) I have tried putting slightly heavier rollers in but not to much difference, does anybody have any ideas on mayby getting the top speed to about 60 without spending loads of money?

I've now owned a Yamaha neo 100 for 4 month and it is serving its purpose. I had an aprilia sr 50 in the past and the sr was a much better ride and derestricted it had a higher top speed. The Neo's top speed, despite what people on here have been quoting, is around about 55 mph as standard. It's only a 100 remember. Acceleration wise, this scooter is quite good. Comfort? well its not too comfy but its ok. This may however be because i find the scooter riding position a little uncomfortable compa ...

Amazing bike for the money build to last! Only problem with mine is as soon as I stop at traffic light unless I add throtle oil sticks stright away tot the spark plug and cuts out, starts fine after just have to keep reving it up.

I find this to be a great scooter! Very comfortable, a good ride got me up and down to Co. Kerry twice! Very fast for what it is (mine is faster than a 125cc motorbike with gears) it will go off the clock (over 60mph) and gets faster after that. Steering is very responsive. I ' d recommend it to anybody starting off.

My first bike. Quite happy with the performance from the bike. Good nippy little bike. Comfortable to ride and feel quite happy on dual carridge ways.

Good commuter that's pacey and cheap to run (insurance, petrol, tax, mot). The Yamaha Neos 100 is also a very reliable scooter that is great for commuting and cheap to run. Its a very stylish scooter and packs quite a punch considering its size. It does a nice 50mph extremely comfortably. Even on national speed limit roads, it holds its own. The vehicle is very robust and copes with longer journeys well (I have ridden from Nottingham to Southampton and Southampton to Norwich on mine without any ...

Great reliable 100cc scooter. You will be overtaking small 50cc scooters and can even over take some cars on the dual carriageway! Fuel econamy is great! I commute to work which totals up an 18 mile trip and I only need to fill up once per week which costs me £5.50 and £2.67 castrol 2 stroke oil from tescos. Great bike for commuting and beyond! There are no rattles or creeking noises. The bike can happily sit at 53MPH and I have had just over 60MPH down a hill once.

I found the Yahama Neos 100 to be an excellent bike. The fuel consumption is amazing and top speed around 70-75mph. you can really lean into corners with this scooter. Very reliable and will start first time every time, even on icy mornings. Never let me down and never had any problems with it. Great acceleration and very nippy up hill as well. Overall an excellent bike.
