the peugeot trekker is very fast and agile, it can be taken offroad without problems. and of course it's very cheap, although it is not the best looking scooter out there.

The Peugeot Trekker 50 Off Road is a very good all round bike. It was my first bike and I commuted on it almost everyday. Very reliable and fun to ride! Reliable, fast, good build quality. Only bad points is it lacks power on occasion, heavy. Highly recommened

Ive had my Peugeot Trekker 50 Off Road for a month now and its just seized up the crankshaft snapped. If i were you i wouldnt derestrict as that was the cause. a 50 doing 50 just think of a 1.0l car doing a 1000. Good Looking
Speedy for a 50cc. Only bad points are small petrol tank and it drains the oil

    Peugeot Trekker 50 Off Road
starts 1st time every time and very reliable i use it everyday to get to college and to my girl friends house and go cruzing around with mates. well i have had mine for over 2weeks now its fully deri-stricted and reaches speeds of 60mph, it beets my mates on there speedfight2's eaisy and would recomend this bike. the pull of power is amazing and gets to speed very quik and very good for wheelieing :)

Im still new to riding so this is my first bike and I love it. Mines the red coloured one and and I find the acceleration very good, well at least compared to my mates. I havent had it de-restricted but I get 45 out of it every time I ride it. Used it daily to travel to and from college (15 mile round trip) for the last 4 months and had no trouble since I sorted it out after the condition the last owner left it in. its done 17000KM and is still a great runner. Recommend the bike to anyone. Altho ...

I have had my trekker 100 for about 8 moths now and has given me nothing but aggravation! (when first brought second hand).
I had to spend £300 to get it running properly. Wheels aren't exactly what I'd call grippy in wet whether! Although amazingly enough I would recommend this bike to a friend (if you can get hold a a decent one they come relativity cheap cause mine cost £125.

I have had my Peugeot trekker 50cc off road for quite some time now and it is very reliable and is better than most mopeds that i see round even thought it is 9 year old, nearly 10. It is an amazing moped and i strongly recommend it.

Had my Peugoet Trekker for 2 years and has hardly ever let me down. Some issues with the automatic choke (replaced twice over the 2 years, both second hand replacements)... But the good thing is that its all mechanical, so no CDI issues to deal with.
Parts are easy to come across and they hold value well. Quite rare also! Only ever seen 2 other Trekkers, none of my year and "off-road" styling.
Always takes-off well at traffic lights if you like jumping the traffic, and also at speed for getting ...

Generally a good bike, doesnt lie rain but apart from that the bike is quite a good little runner!
It doesnt like the rain, my bike stops in the rain, as the spark plug is planted right where the spray goes from the back wheel, your going along and the engine will act a little like you have turned the throttle off, however you still have full throttle, and sometimes the engine will even stop!

I am very happy with my Peugeot trekker, or TKR as it is sometimes known.
i was surprised, after not riding it for about a week, for it to start first time in -2 temperature conditions.
i have never had any electrical problems, the carburetor has had to be cleaned out once already (didn't cost because still under warranty) and I think it may need doing again as some power is noticeably lost on hills.
The speed is 50-55mph indicated however the real speed is about 40-45mph (tested on two separ ...

Get nearly 60 (indicated) on my Peugeot Trekker 50 Off Road, which is good for a restricted scooter. Have a full bike licence but love riding this. £50 to buy, £60 to insure and a real buzz. Use this to commute when I can and it cost £5 a week compared to £50 a week in my Scooby. (Yup, I really own a Scooby).
Parts are cheap as you like and plentiful and there is always a breaker on eBay.

Mine has a Rossi blue paint job, 70cc big bore kit, big bore carb, K&N style air filter, Leovince ZX Exhaust and 12" wheels instead of the standard 10". Wrapped them in Michelin Scooter Z tyres, and got a new clutch casing with rollers, but has a 4 stroke CDI from a C90 BCZ. The electrics went on it an blew the CDI, so once I change that to a 2-stroke it will do 65mph, an then when I go on holiday I'm sending the barrel off 4 porting.

I bought my Peugeot Trekker 50 from a brokers garage in October last year (2006) for £500 - it was already de-restricted (it does 45mph tops on a flat and I've got it up to about 52mph downhill) and was in very good condition for its age (just over 6 years old). It is still a very good runner now but has problems starting up on cold mornings. It's also a surprisingly comfortable bike.

Overall - its a very good moped!

Ive only really had 2 major problems with this bike since I got it ...

I bought this 2nd scooter from a brokers garage for £500 as it was my first set of wheels - it's a fast little bike for a 50cc, is comfy and is a good all rounder. Gets you from A to B with no problems - It's very cheap to run, although 2 stroke is quite expensive, as is petrol (when you drive it like I do :P). If your thinking of buying a scooter you should think about 1 of these. A GOOD BIKE!

    Best when setting off
I had a Tecnigas on my Peugeot Trekker but had to change engine now I need help with the carb. My mate pulled pipes off with remembering where they go and it ticks over but soon as I put throttle on it dies
