Good Points: Relaxed, easy going, no worries riding
Bad Points: Not quite got enough oomph if you have to take it out of town
General comments: I've had my Majesty (Yamaha YP125R) for a year now, and I'm sad to say that she and I are parting company. I want my full licence and so a geared bike and more learning beckons.I've loved her and will be sad to lose her (may even buy her back at some point if money allows.
Anyone buying one be prepared to relax. The Majesty isn't going to outrace many things for top speed, though from the lights she's quick to start off and get up to 30, and there's even some excitement as on the open road as you hit 50 there's sometimes a little kick in the back as you suddenly get an urge of acceleration on towards an indicated 65mph. But all in all she's much like royalty, relaxed and prefers to take things at her pace. And that is one of the joys of owning one, leave the office, helmet, jacket gloves and away and within minutes all stresses have drained away as you glide effortlessly through traffic, hook around the those who have parked across junctions and generally cruise to your destination.
Relax, get one. Enjoy it.
