The bike has never let me down, always starts. And if you're lucky to find a nice one that doesn't have too many kms, BUY IT. I love mine, it looks awesome, sounds awesome and doesn't use a lot of fuel either. I've only taken out the restricts, so it doesn about 80 km/h. The bike is quite big in difference to a lot of other scooters. It's so steady on the road and has a really nice comfort feeling. It's soft and quick to drive and it's pure fun to ride it. I've tried a lot of scooters, for... (read more)

Speedfight 2 WRC.
Been commuting on this for just over a year. Its nippy, reliable and a great looker. I Bought it second hand, it had been hardly used and 1,700kms on the speedo. I had it fully serviced, new battery and never looked back. Love the bike and if you can get your hands on one, I'd get it. My experience it has good acceleration leaving cars at the lights and a top speed of 90k before I throttle back.

The problem with the quick start may be the battery but I would say that more than likely its the fuse next to the battery these cost less than a pound and u should find by replacing the fuse your quick start will work instantly give this ago before taking any other route as its cost efficient

Speedfight 50cc WRC. I have had this bike for 8 months and what a bike it is! It is not even derestricted yet! Speed, once warmed up a bit, is not an issue. It will leave cars standing at traffic lights no problem. It is extremely reliable on those cold mornings, even with a dead battery. The kickstarter is a very handy feature, starting first time. Handling is very good; loves being chucked around those tight corners. Brakes are excellent; nearly threw me over the handlebars once! I have had... (read more)

If you really wanna get the best acceleration and top end out of your Speedfight WRC then get the K&N oil and air filters, and if you've already got a racing exhaust and its not topping 50 mph then try the viper smoked silencers. I fitted all of that and my scooter's hot.
Written on: 07/04/2007
Yeah. I recommend you get a different Peugeot scooter, like an SR 50 or an Aerox. That will solve your problem.

Take off your drivetrain limiter. Usually a spacer on the front variator.
Remove the spacer from the variator. Mine tops 65 with standard exhaust. It's all very well removing the power restriction in the neck of the exhaust pipe but if you are stuck in "low gear" you will never get a higher top speed. Removing the spacer allows the pulleys to effectively gear higher.

My Peugeot Speedfight 2 WRC 206 is pretty nippy. I have had 45 tops but I have only derestricted the standard exhaust. I cannot wait to get my sport exhaust and 70cc kit, it is going to be well fast!
When I bought it, it was in pretty bad condition. I have re-sprayed parts of it although it's not the best, it looks better than before. I am going to buy new panels for it and completely change the look of it, but recently I drove over a pot hole in the road and has not felt safe since. I...

The fuse is next to the battery had exactly the same problem on my vivacity before someone reversed over it
Written on: 21/01/2007
The thing that you will need in order to get the acceleration right up there would be to possibly buy a new racing exhaust (if you do purchase one, make sure when you have run it in and that you paint it a matt black colour, but using heat resistant paint such as Babique paint it will work fine) when someone fits your exhaust you should ask for lighter rollers, as this will give the acceleration more flicker but your top end speed will be reduced, possibly dramatically. At the moment I am using the medium rollers for more top end speed. If you do not wish to spend around £100 for an exhaust I don't blame you because I didn't want to until mine fell of, so if not then just take your scooter to your local motorcycle mechanic and request lighter rollers they are not expensive at all and are very effective for what you want.

Just to note I've have had my Peugeot Speedflight 2 206 WRC for about 6 months now or a bit longer and I am very familiar about the the bike and its building, and if you are just getting the bike take care of the spark plug, for they are a big carry on that are unnecessarily placed.
Written on: 27/02/2007
well the gear up kit is a good idea as it increases your top end by a guaranteed 16% although it does decrease your acceleration but there are ways to get the acceleration back up such as adding a sports exhaust and make sure you get this derestricted this will also add to your top end when derestricted put in some lighter rollers but make sure you know how light to get talk to a mechanic or i could find out for you and racing air filter increases your throttle response I suggest getting a Mallosi racing air filter, make sure the variator is derestricted the last thing to better you can do is important it will really make your bike have higher top end and quicker acceleration and that adding a boar kit your looking at quite a bit of money for one of these but don't get a cheap one i suggest getting a Mallosi again.

Things not to believe:
Don't get a new belt unless your old one is broken people say they increases your acceleration but they don't!!!
Don't get a booster bottle they don't increase acceleration they just store unused fuel and make your big sound louder when you revving it at the traffic lights.

I have only owned this Peugeot Speedfight 2 WRC 206 scooter for a month, but am generally impressed. The 100cc engine is powerful. I weigh over 15 stones but the performance is still excellent. Anti theft measures are very good: electronic key, steering lock and an excellent Boa chain stored within the frame.
I am 6ft 1" tall and it is really too small and sometimes my knees get in the way of the handlebars. Unfortunately the seat is one of those 2 levels models for a pillon passenger, so...

Or you could get a 19 mm big vaulve carb of PM tuning aswell
