I've had my bike for a week now and its well good, its derestricted so it hits 60mph, a lot of peoples ones are slow at taking off but mine is like a rocket and hit 30 within a couple of seconds, and looks well nice. Best bike ever… Read Full Review

I bought my Peugeot Speedfight 2 a month ago and the bike is awesome top end but on take off it is really slow and boggy and doesn ' t want to pull until it gets to a certain rev, on some hills the revs will die down and will sometimes stop dead, my mate who is on a piaggio typhoon leaves me in the dust up hills every time and its really starting to annoy me now… Read Full Review

This bike is brilliant had mine for 2 years not a fault apart from wear and tear (new tyres, new pads, speedo cable), mine is de restricted and due to an official x race engine and bigger exhaust its acceleration beats anything and I ' ve been recorded by a car doing a decent speed on straight, looks great and faults generally come from not maintaining bike correctly, I done checks every week. the swing is the only bad thing really, handles great but when braking is heavy on one side, but to… Read Full Review

I have had my Peugeot Speedfight x-race 50 Scooter for 2 weeks now and I got it second hand. It is one of the best looking bikes I have ever seen and handles like a dream the only problem is its got slow acelceration but that may be because its restricted. If anyone is looking for a bike I would definately reccomend an x-race… Read Full Review

i've got a S.F.2. prost thats been de-restricted and the accelaration is phenominal top speed = 70mph (down hills) 60-65 (on a straight) but from the experience i,v had they are very UNreliable vertually everything on mine has broke atleast once in its lifetime and it drinks the fuel like its air. instead i would reccomend a yamaha aerox thelook just as good and just as fast.

I bought a speedfight 2 x race for my 16 b/day. I found it very nice to look at as wherever I went it turned heads. The handling is very good on wet terrain. I have only one problem and that is the speed from stand still, it takes a while but once it gets going it is very quick. I find the boa lock very usefull but is quite stiff to use at first. I would say this moped and the aprilia SR50 are the peds to buy… Read Full Review

I don't think that the handling is as good on the Peugeot Speedfight as it is on the Aerox and NRGS, but they definitely do look better. My Speedfight was quicker than most other peds standard for acceleration, but then I tuned it and it flies past most standard 100cc peds.

Written on: 02/11/2003 by dd mac d (1 review written)

I got a Peugeot Speedfight x-race as soon as I was 16. It looked great but when I first got it, it was restricted and my mate who had a de-restricted "mach G" used to leave me in the dust - until I got mine de-restricted. People who say they got 60+ on theirs as standard are talking bull, the fastest I got was about 58mph down a hill! towards the end of its life the ped's performence went down hill, I think it was because of the abuse I gave it. I wrote it off before I got a Kevlar belt and a… Read Full Review
