Good Points: Smooth and comfortable. Bigger range of damper settings. More upright rowing motion thus less strain on lower back.
Bad Points: Computer is pretty basic. No website to log times and/or compare/rank against other rowers.
General comments: I find that compared to the Concept2 the Fluid is really hardwork!
I have a best time of 6.35s for 2k and 17.30 for 5k on Concept and comfortably row times of 7.00-7.10 for 2k and 17.55-18.15 for 5k: but so far I've only managed 7.45s for 2k and 19.35 for 5k and it was hardwork.
Damper settings appear harder too.
Thickness of handle compared to Concept - but as previously mentioned perhaps this is closer to what "real" rowers feel.
Overall the workout is absolutely great (especially if you like to go hard).

Very easy to use and smooth - only minor gripe is that the handle is a little to thick and not as comfortable as a concept 2 but I presume this is to more closely mimick the dimensions of an actual oar?
Well recommend First Degree Fluid Circuit Rower.

The First Degree Fluid Circuit Rower rowing machine comes very close to the feel of actually rowing on water, but in the comfort of your own home.
It has a fluid resistance system that mimics all the effects of rowing on water, including the complete workout that you would get. It simulates every detail almost to perfection.
I cannot rate this rowing machine highly enough.
