My first Ferm 115mm Angle Grinder one failed after an hour of use - disk lock sheared off.
My second one failed after a year with brushes, then two years later with the ON/OFF switch, brushes again and brush holders. All simple repairs but annoying when unit fails when you are relying on it. If you need a cheap tool to do a small job occasionally then this tool is OK. Personally I would hire one then failures become the responsibility of the hire company. 115mm disks just seem to dissolve in use so I would recommend the 9 inch version if you can fit it into the hole that you are working in. Cheap and cheerful but you get what you pay for. Excellent for small jobs around the house.

The Ferm 115mm Angle Grinder is as disrespectful to the environment as a £300 DeWalt angle grinder that can survive 10 years of heavy use. It's obviously designed to last around 36 months and then disrespect the environment.
