i have this remington 870 gun. i am 16 going on 17 i have been hunting all my life. this is the first gun i used and still is the only one.we have one exactly like it also for my step dad. they may be identical but i have customized mine to fit my left handed needs. this gun is light weight. so when we are driving a proberty that is about mile to two miles long i dont need to swich arms jsut cuz its heavy..some times i even forget im carrying it..i would recomend this to any body. like i said my step dad has one but his is a 12 instead of a 20.the bad side about mine is which anyone who has shot mine. said mine kicks like a 20 so when the seasons over lets just say i have a huge bruise on my sholder. ohh well its a great gun i love it

Remington 870 express Magnum Youth Model is small and manuverable, thick pines and brush are a breeze, reliable never fails, great home defence,ect... abused this gun pretty good grouse hunting, chuckar hunting and every thing else. I am 5' 8" tall the youth model is easy to carry in rough terrain and not to mention it is cheap enough to beat.

Can you spend more money on a youth shotgun, sure you can but why would anyone want to this shotgun is perfect for any youth, woman or small frame adult. it is totally reliable and user friendly. And it is very versatile with 3 inch chamber and screw in choke tubes

This shotgun is very good for hunting pheasents. Its a very good weight and really easy to pump. I did find the pump to be a bit loose though but I can get this sorted, I hope.

The rem 870 is a good solid gun. when you are in the woods, field, or marsh you need to know that your gun will fire w/ no problems. I have been duck & goose hunting with a rem sportsmans 870 12 ga. for 13 years w/ no problems. the action & fireing mec has been packed with catails & mud from the marsh & never miss fired, jamed, or let me down in the field.

Everything a shotgun should be and i have owned many of them. The price for additional barrels is a bit much but the Remington 870 express shotgun is very reliable and deadly accurate. Recommend to everyone.

Remington 870 express Magnum Youth Model- its an okay gun but there are better guns on the market, keep an eye out for Browning, they are much better in my opinion.

If you are looking for a pump shotgun for a shooter smaller than 5 foot 2 inches (157 cm) then the Remington Youth 870 is the perfect gun. The gun balances well when equipped with a 21 inch (55 cm) barrel. The 870 Youth is a bit lightweight for use with magnum shotgun shells, but with standard shells it is quite manageable. A very good shotgun overall.

The Remington 870 has stood the test of time and is still the most popular shotgun on the market. Mine has never let me down and will always function whether it be wet, icy, or muddy. Buy it for its price and enjoy its dependability in the field. You could buy a Beretta or Benelli but you will be wasting your money because the 870 performs in the exact same way. Exchangable choke tubes make adjusting choke very easy. This is a no nonsense shotgun for a first timer or for someone who doesnt ...

I like the shorther stocks when I'm hunting. I also like long barrels. So I put a 60 inch barrel on my Remington 870( a rifled barrel with screw in rifled barrels). It's a great deer gun and extremley reliable. I would buy it since there like 300 bucks at Gander Mountain.

I own the Remington 870 express Magnum Youth Model gun in 20gauge. I've never once been disapointed by it. It's lightweight. I used to be skinny and I never had trouble hauling it trough the woods for hours on end. It's available in 3 in magnum so it provides great knockdown power for turkeys. I've shot skeet and trap with it and it swings great as well. Mine shoots 6's better than 4's or 5's for some reason but 6's and anything smaller than that leaves a beautiful pattern! If you're gonn ...
