Good Points: Excellent value for money, comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean. Excellent position in the Latin Quarter, handy for M tro and river bus, 5 minutes' walk from Notre Dame, many excellent restaurants nearby and within walking distance of a huge range of well-known and lesser-known attractions.
Bad Points: Rooms and bathrooms very small; no mirror in bedroom. Front rooms can be noisy if you like the windows open (ear-plugs solve this!).
General comments: Familia Hotel is a really super little hotel, full of character and charm. All you need as a base for your stay in Paris, offering a good night's sleep as well a mine of information at the front desk! Its position in the Latin Quarter would be hard to beat - it's close to the M tro, to the Seine with its river boats, and only 5 minutes' walk from Notre Dame. Also close by are many interesting little restaurants offering excellent fare, prepared with pride by the owners. If you want to get away from the international chains of hotels and restaurants and find somewhere with real character, this is the hotel for you!
