HORRIBLE doesn't come close to describing this airline. They delayed my first flight by 4 hours and then canceled it. After returning the next day to catch the rescheduled flight, they delayed it yet again. My connection flight through AA was canceled in Dallas Texas. They provided a room and a 10.00 voucher at Denny's for the overnight stay. Just when I thought htis terrible experience was over, they then told me my luggage was lost somewhere in between Dallas Texas and Toronto Canada.

FYI, it took them 14 days to return my luggage to me. The handles were broken off and the entire suitcase was covered in grass, mud and debris.

They mistakingly turned OFF the seat belt light prematurely and then proceeded to reprimand the passengers on the flight by saying on the loudspeaker: "Remain in your seats, we are not here to babysit you."

It'll be a cold day in Hell before I fly on this pathetic excuse for an airline again.

American Airlines is the WORST airline I have ever flown with. The customer service was rude and simply AWFUL from check in and in flight. The food was disgusting. Seats were very uncomfortable. In flight entertainment was abysmal - not only did the on demand not function properly but the initial choice of films (Prior to the on-demand system failing less than an hour into the 10 hour flight) was meager. IF ONLY i could NEVER FLY WITH THEM AGAIN... unfortunately my employer books the tickets for ...

American Airlines is a TERRIBLE service when it comes to providing DEPENDABLE, TIMELY travel. They also have extremely RUDE customer service representatives who are NOT willing to LISTEN or have compassion for your situation. Our flight was delayed multiple times without a friendly, simple, explanation as to why. When they were approached about the delay, they were rude and inconsiderate. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again as it was my worst travel experience on an airline. They need to po ...

I feel I must share the horrendous service experienced on the AA65 overseas flight yesterday (Zurich - New York). The flight attendants in economy class to mention were Karolyn, Johnetta, Gloria and Lori. I do not know, why they chose their jobs, as they are clearly not enjoying it and every passenger inquiry or request seems to be a burden for them and as if they were doing the passengers a huge favour. We were sitting pretty far back and could overhear the Flight Attendants talk to each other ...

On Monday December 14th, my fiancee, two daughters, and I had a scheduled flight leaving Montreal at 7:45am with one stop in Dallas, Texas. Our final destination was Leon, Mexico at 2:45pm, had everything gone as planned. However it did not, which is why I am now taking time from my holiday to tell you what happened. We arrived at the American Airlines counter at 6:15am to check in. The line-up was moderate, but we noticed that it was not moving very fast. We did not arrive at the counter until ...

Worst airline company ever. I will celebrate the day these thieves go out of business.

My golf bag - with $2000 worth of clubs, my GPS and golf shoes never made it on to the flight. It's never been located. Basically the only record of the bag is my "claim check" tag - which is worthless - it's only viable if someone finds my bag and returns it to AA - and they fly it to my final destination. I know I will never see my beloved Mizunos again. I also know I will never fly American Airlines again, ...

Every leg of flight delayed, baggage delayed upon arrival, did not receive a call when baggage did arrive. After picking up delayed baggage, found several items had been stolen by American Airline employees during transit. American Airlines refused to compensate for the stolen goods or speak to me in person, merely communicated through form letter.

    Low standards, no ethics, unprofessional.

Paid for 22-month old to have his own seat, but was made a lap child soon after take-off. They have since paid the difference after a formal complaint.

Food was reasonably good, all in throwaway containers rather than the reusable ones other airlines use. No cock-ups with the wife's special meal.

Seats on the 767 were ok, not great. The entertainment controls are on the top of the armrest which is rather bizarre as you frequently press a button by accident.

In flight entertainment is listed a ...

firstly, this is not a review on the fligth but on the customer service numbers of AA. i have been ON HOLD for 55 mins and still no response. i wonder how they can frustrate their customers soo much. At a time, when everyone is trying to find customers and make them happy, i cant believe AA keep a customer on HOLD for such time. i will never travel on AA again just becoz their customer service is tooo............nor will i recommend any of my frnds or family to fly AA.

FEW THINGS I DIDN'T CARE FOR THIS AEROLINE. WHEN I ASKED FOR COFFEE AND CREAM THEY TOLD ME THAT CREAMER WAS ONLY SERVE TO FIRST CLASS ONLY . THAT IS RIDICULOUS AFTER I PAYED $1,100 TO FLY WITH THEM. CREAMER IS OFFERED ANYWERE FOR FREE. SO REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN CREAMER IF YOU LOVE YOUR COFFEE WITH CREAM.

ALSO WHEN I GOT TO THE AEROPORT JFK, THEY MAKE YOU CHECK IN ON YOUR OWN . YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR TICKES ON YOUR OWN. NOW THEY HAVE COMPUTERS AND YOU HAVE TO SCAN YOUR PASSAPORT AND GET YOUR T ...

American Airlines does not have a policy that prevents their employees from stealing from your luggage and they will likely not be very much help in recovering any stolen items.

About a year ago I had a round trip ticket with American Airlines from El Paso to New York City. I packed a small jewelry box, which contained some jewelry in my luggage. The luggage and the jewelry box made it to New York safely. In fact, I received a paper notification that my luggage had been searched and I found tha ...

I flew American Airlines to Atlanta, Georgia with my daughter so we could attend the graduation of her fiance from Basic Training in Ft, Benning. Our flight was slightly delayed out of San Antonio, but not so much that I was concerned. It wasn't until we landed in Dallas for our exchange that we had a problem. We checked the board when we got off the plan and made our way over on the tram to the next gate. When we got there we find a sign that the connecting flight had been moved to another gat ...

I would never recommend american airlines, nor would like to travel with them again.
My flight to New York from Boston was delayed by 5 hours, and I missed my connecting flight to Singapore because of that. I was clearly told on board that the problem was 'mechanical' and was not due to weather reasons. In all earnestness, I requested them to contact the Singapore airlines through their ground staff at JFK New York to confirm that I am being delayed.

When I reached, I ran to the gate agent c ...

The most crappiest, worst airlines ever! Worst crew! Worst baggage handling, one of the crew forcibly took away my cabin baggage and they lost it in transit, when I asked for compensation, they sent a lousy $100 voucher for future tickets!!! I filed a complaint with consumer complaint agency and they somehow got away with it! I was ripped off, cheated and mistreated by AA flight crew, ground crew, baggage handling department, customer service. Everything about this airlines sucks!!!

I fly every week on various airlines on the West Coast so I am familiar with air travel. I say this for a reason: I booked my flight from Dallas to Seattle with my wife and one kid a month in advance. We had booked 3 seats in a row for the sake of our 4 year old. On arrival to the airport, AA had changed the seats so that now we were sitting separately. The rep at the Dallas airport at check-in guided me to the e-ticket counter. I told him I wanted to talk to the the agent at the counter as my s ...

I was shocked when I saw the prices for a round-trip flight to Honduras ($250), and so I jumped at the chance to visit my family. The flights weren't too long, but the seats are small, so they made the flights a bit uncomfortable. But that didn't really bother me. What did bother me was the incredibly rude stewardess on my flight back from Honduras to Miami. Literally 15 minutes before the plane landed at MIA, the woman decided that I needed to put my bag in the compartment above my seat. I coul ...
