Good Points: These mini figures are very well done and are faithful to their characters in the film.

Bad Points: Of course, LEGO 4753: Sirius Black's Escape is the only set where you can get the Buckbeak mini figure, and it also includes the not very common Sirius Black. But......as was the case with the 'Troll Bathroom' set from the first film, the actual Lego building is little more than a vehicle for the mini figures. Hardly anyone is going to buy the set for the tiny little 'tower' representing Sirius's imprisonment chamber - the thing doesn't even fit onto the main Hogwarts set. They'll buy it for Buckbeak and the Sirius figure, both essential if you want to play out the best scenes from the film. I've always wondered why the Lego company don't release mega packs of all the best mini figures, and now I know. They split them up into different sets so that anyone wanting all the characters will have to buy almost every set.

General comments: Overall, this is a pretty good set, although you would probably want another few sets to get maximum play value from it. Unfortunately, the price tag lets it down, with an awful bricks-to-pence ratio. We know the Lego company has to charge a bit extra to pay for the Harry Potter licence, but looking at what's actually in the set, you might feel a bit short-changed. Also, as I mentioned before, I'd like it if the small sets (e.g. the tower, the bathroom etc.) actually fitted onto the main sets like Hogwarts Castle, but that's a lot to expect from the guys at Lego who design the stuff. So yes, this is quite a good set, but you should probably consider buying and combining a few more sets to make this one really shine.
