Our Porsche Cordless Kettle (Model TW1100) Has gone on the 'blink'. To boil, the 'start' button has to be pressed down for 10-20 seconds before it 'fire-up'. Cannot find any reference to a service department. Can anyone please help?

This kettle just goes on and on,it's almost like an investment. We thought ours had gone kaput this weekend and i shopped around everywhere for a new kettle but couldn't find a Siemens ,so had a brain wave and went home and changed the fuse and Hey Presto,it's back up and running again, not bad going for a 10 year old kettle. I occasionally give it a rub down with a damp cloth and some cream cleanser and it comes up like new. I live in a pretty much limescale free area, so i don't have to do any internal maintenance apart from an occasional wipe out. If you can find one, Buy it !!!

Had the kettle for over 10 years, only trouble is a slight spill when pouring out but not too much to worry about.in the 10 years we have had it we have de-scaled it 3 or 4 times and we live in a hard water area.paid quite a high price when we bought it much to the amusement of friends and family but its paid off now.also have all the siemens range ie-cooker,hob,washing machine, canopy hood, induction hob,dishwasher..only had limited problems with them which all fixed.i would not hesitate to replace them when they are un- repairable as all of them are over ten years old...you get what you pay for as they say.never done a review before but feel siemens appliances are warranted of a great one.

Bought the original Porsche design in 2001, friends thought I was crazy spending over £100 on a kettle. I always remember my parents having a Russell Hobbs that lasted over 20 years when I was growing up and wanted a quality product that would last. Its still going strong, haved moved 3 times since buying and its still with me. Will definately buy another! Friend has had 3 new ketlles in past 12 months (well known brands) and they have not lasted more than a few months. Products these days just dont seem to last, so well worth the initial investment.

Spills when pours
Lid fails to remain closed at times
Slow to boil
Exterior and black bits stains easy when in hard water area
Base stains - hard water
Cots a fortune just too look good
Avoid!

I agree entirely, When I pour a cup full of water into yjhe cup, almost half dribbles¨down the front of kettle, Very poor pourer design. This is also an HSE issue because the dribbled water is boiling, I do not understand why Siemens Porshe team haven't redsinged the pouring spout before saome Americab sues the heck out of them

We have had our kettle for at least 9 years and it has been absolutely brilliant!! I am only replacing it now with another siemens kettle because I knocked this one off the work top and broke the lid on our stone floor!!
It boils very quickly and is cool to the touch Fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone. It is also very stylish and good quality. Other people I know seem to be buying replacement kettles every 6 months or so making the Siemens very good value for money too.

When it works, this kettle is great, that's why so many people rate it highly. The problem is it has no durability. We bought one and loved it. Decided it would make a great gift for the mother-in-law. The mother-in-law's died after 14 months. Our's made it to 3 years. Both starting leaking at the base. For a £90 price that is just unacceptable.

Bought this kettle after seeing it on Big Brother all those years ago, some 8+ years and to this day it is still going strong, never had a single problem with it, its quick and very efficient, and everybody who sees the kettles says what a lovely kettle it looks, I would buy another if anything happend to it for usre.........

My second kettle has just died on me after a couple of years.
The first lasted for 5 years.
It seems to be the same problem with both, I can only guess an electrical fault.
I am not happy as they are not cheap to buy.
They look great, friends comment on it, but I wouldn't recommend and will not be buying a third.

The siemens kettle is tough and long lasting! ive owned my kettle now for 8 years now and its still going strong a real good purchase. I like the light weight design of it and the style. There is nothing to dislike about it. My wife bought a kenwood filter in 2006 but after using it for a few weeks, we swopped back to the siemens.

I have had this kettle for some time now. It looks good, is well made and does exactly what it is meant to. Boiling is fast and excellent insulation prevents burnt fingers and ensures the contents stay hot for some time - a useful energy-saving feature. It is not cheap, but less than half the price of the newer Casa Bugatti kettle and, personally, I prefer the more understated design of the Porsche.

this is my second siemens porsche kettle and it's absolutely great.
i bought the first one, i suppose, 10 years ago. at friend's tried other new kettles (not porsche siemens) and they all get so hot you can't even touch it!!! This one...works perfect, looks great and IT DOESN'T BURN YOUR HANDS!!! have to look for another one in case this one breaks.
i wouldn't change it for anything!!

The Siemens TW91100 Porsche Cordless plastic spout area and the plastic lid are starting to disintegrate. There is no wear on these points so must conclude that the material used is not up to its job. Not good for such an expensive kettle. It does look great though.

Day 1 and my Siemens TW91100 is leaking. Being a perpetual optimist, I read reviews but didn't think it would happen to my kettle, it did! What do you go for: style or function. It is a pain in the neck to have to keep checking on the situation, especially if you have good quality work surface!

The Siemens TW91100 Porsche Cordless is a great looking appliance but the problems with leakage have disappointed me greatly.
