Had the kettle for over 10 years, only trouble is a slight spill when pouring out but not too much to worry about.in the 10 years we have had it we have de-scaled it 3 or 4 times and we live in a hard water area.paid quite a high price when we bought it much to the amusement of friends and family but its paid off now.also have all the siemens range ie-cooker,hob,washing machine, canopy hood, induction hob,dishwasher..only had limited problems with them which all fixed.i would not hesitate to... Bought the original Porsche design in 2001, friends thought I was crazy spending over £100 on a kettle. I always remember my parents having a Russell Hobbs that lasted over 20 years when I was growing up and wanted a quality product that would last. Its still going strong, haved moved 3 times since buying and its still with me. Will definately buy another! Friend has had 3 new ketlles in past 12 months (well known brands) and they have not lasted more than a few months. Products these days... (read more)

We have had our kettle for at least 9 years and it has been absolutely brilliant!! I am only replacing it now with another siemens kettle because I knocked this one off the work top and broke the lid on our stone floor!!
It boils very quickly and is cool to the touch Fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone. It is also very stylish and good quality. Other people I know seem to be buying replacement kettles every 6 months or so making the Siemens very good value for money too. (read more)

When it works, this kettle is great, that's why so many people rate it highly. The problem is it has no durability. We bought one and loved it. Decided it would make a great gift for the mother-in-law. The mother-in-law's died after 14 months. Our's made it to 3 years. Both starting leaking at the base. For a £90 price that is just unacceptable. (read more)

My second kettle has just died on me after a couple of years.
The first lasted for 5 years.
It seems to be the same problem with both, I can only guess an electrical fault.
I am not happy as they are not cheap to buy.
They look great, friends comment on it, but I wouldn't recommend and will not be buying a third. (read more)

The siemens kettle is tough and long lasting! ive owned my kettle now for 8 years now and its still going strong a real good purchase. I like the light weight design of it and the style. There is nothing to dislike about it. My wife bought a kenwood filter in 2006 but after using it for a few weeks, we swopped back to the siemens. (read more)

I have had this kettle for some time now. It looks good, is well made and does exactly what it is meant to. Boiling is fast and excellent insulation prevents burnt fingers and ensures the contents stay hot for some time - a useful energy-saving feature. It is not cheap, but less than half the price of the newer Casa Bugatti kettle and, personally, I prefer the more understated design of the Porsche. (read more)

The Siemens TW91100 Porsche Cordless plastic spout area and the plastic lid are starting to disintegrate. There is no wear on these points so must conclude that the material used is not up to its job. Not good for such an expensive kettle. It does look great though. (read more)

Day 1 and my Siemens TW91100 is leaking. Being a perpetual optimist, I read reviews but didn't think it would happen to my kettle, it did! What do you go for: style or function. It is a pain in the neck to have to keep checking on the situation, especially if you have good quality work surface! (read more)

This is the second Siemens Porsche kettle I have owned. I previously had the older shape one which didn't last 5 minutes (kept switching itself off). I had my money back and bought something else. When that packed in I really fancied the Siemens kettle because it does look great.
Anyway 1 year on all is fine and it's still going strong! (read more)

Siemens TW91100 Porsche Cordless is a fine looking kettle and goes perfectly with the matching toaster, but we have aventually gotten fed-up with its inability to pour without dripping. We have a baby and are always filling bottles etc and we think for £90 it should manage to pour without dripping. (read more)

I have had a Siemens Porche Cordless Kettle for a couple of years now and found it to be well designed. Still looks good and boils quickly. Easy to clean although the lid mechanism is suffering in the hard water area we now live in. Never suffered from that plastic taste some cheap kettle impart. (read more)

Siemens TW91100 Porsche Cordless Kettle is defenatly the Porsche of kettles, it is rather sexy, and looks great on the kitchen worktop. As well as boiling water it has a anti-lime scale filter so you won't have to worry about constant cleaning. (read more)
