Good Points: A lively read, and good round entertainment. I enjoyed it immensely. Cool cover. Fine writing.
Bad Points: There are a couple of typos, but then most books have these if you look hard enough.
General comments: I'd heard some good things about Sean Wright's Jesse Jameson and the Bogie Beast, and so picked it up a little dubious about what to expect. Most hyped-up books simply don't cut it. Did this one? I thought it was very good - not brilliant, but a very satisfying read.

Sean Wright - Jesse Jameson and the Bogie Beast is a self-published book and it shows. The cover looks like a losing entry from a Blue Peter competition for children, and the writing is bad in every sense: poor spelling, dodgy grammar and so badly written it's like a parody. Have a look at the earlier reviews: how odd that three of them were written before the book was published! And that they all sound similar to the blurb on Sean Wright's own website!
