“Good guitar in experienced hands”

Written on: 10/08/2013 by Adolori (1 review written)

I have my pack for about 4 years now. Black. i have about 20 years of playing experience. The 15 W amp is of course not meant for gigs but for practicing. Any experienced player should know that no 15 W amp will ever be heard above the drums. The amp is excellent in all sounds from clean to distorted. Of course there is virtually no headroom in such a small amp, so the cleans will be at low volume. The sound quality of the amp is very good and if you know how, you can model almost any amp. I… Read Full Review

“decent if you're on a budget”

Written on: 27/05/2013 by fretfingerz (1 review written)

the guitar itself is not too shabby if plugged into a decent amp. I wouldn't recommend it as a guitar for playing gigs but a practice session maybe. it does have a unusually deep sound which can be used to your advantage if you're going to play rock or grunge. the amp that comes with the package is terrible so get another one. like a car, you get what you pay for . if you have more cash get a cort or even a squire. otherwise 8f you're on a budget then this is not a bad buy at all… Read Full Review

The guitar looks OK but is bordeline useless. It can ble used in a way after changing the strings, filing the frets and buying a new cable, but won't stay in tune more than five minutes. Tremolo is a disaster. BUT: The amp is not bad for the price. One extra star for the amp… Read Full Review

Overall this is a pretty excellent guitar if it only had a fixed bridge and string-through option ala-Tele. Also I prefer tighter pickup cavities so the swimming pool cav is a no-no, but then I guess it gives the guitar a very semi-hollowish tone which I actually love, I am just afraid of feedback. The pick ups are quiet, and with two pups selected it can be used effectively for tight distortions. I still don't know what wood was used for the body but hey, it's light and resonates well (try it… Read Full Review

Let's face it - Behringer is mostly known for it's sound systems and amps etc. The Behringer V Tone electric guitar they sell is better than a lot of beginner-pack electric guitars, but don't go in expecting a Strat just because it looks like one. That being said, the bang for your buck is pretty high -- the little amp really rocks, and the gig bag is handy etc. I paid $100 US for this, and I am extremely satisfied. I just wish the axe held it's tune a little better, had a better action, was… Read Full Review

Written on: 01/03/2006 by viago (1 review written)

This pack at rock bottom prices is astounding. The amp knocks spots off all other starter amps and is good enough for performance. The guitar sounds at least as good as the squire if not better. Have just ordered another one for number 2 son. Enough said… Read Full Review
