    Good Points: Mine came 2nd hand with carbon everything, titanium everything else. great price and truly unbeatable when you open it up


    Bad Points: Turning circle as usual. not a city bike but you're an idiot if you just want it to pose . and omg carbon parts are painfully expensive.


    General comments: Having worked up through a 888, laverda 750 and an aprilia rsv1000 and played on my mates 996 and r1 ive got to say this is a gold plated bomb! handling is sweet over 50mph then mindbending over 100. nicely run in supercorsas can take all i can give, a full 57mm termi system spreads the v-twin grin all over my face and being looked after by ducati proteam gives me all the confidence i never had with the 888 haha. and at half what you'd expect you can really run rings around any other v-twin.
    buy it as your second bike as i did, absolutely no regrets

    The Ducati 999R is an Italian dream machine clearly made for people that want to ride a bike with a soul. Some people give negative comments about this bike but it seems that non of them know what it means to own one. This bike is made for the race track by people that know the racetrack and have innovated bike racing many decades ago (read about desmodromic engines and check Stoner's MotoGp bike valve technology). This baby will not go slow... it's as if you are committing a crime if you are go ...

    This is my second Ducati 999R. The other one broke. But I still wanted this as much so much. Looks unbelievable and then you ride it. So it's not the most powerful or the quickest but boy does it feel good, goes well, handle like a dream and can make the most incompetent ride feel like a racer.

    This Ducati 999R is one over rated sports bike. I almost bought one but practicality took over. Sure I still wanted a sport bike but not this one. I purchased a differant bike that was faster and pocketed $5000, thank you very much. Hmmm maybe I'll spend it on a used Suzuki TL1000R track bike.
