I think Godley Stud is the best riding school i have been to, i went to a different riding school and din't think i was learning anything so i went to Godley and i have learnt more in 4 weeks than the time at the other stables. The horses are great, the staff are really helpful and everything is looked after.

good points:
big paddock, amazing horses, friendly instructors, helpful lead reiners, well looked after horses
bad points:
none at all
general service:
the Godley Stud Tameside horses are allways very well lokked after by the lead reiners
instructors are very friendly and they put you on a horse that they know will build your experience, they have some slower horses and ponies because if you are allways on a forward going hose you will never learn to ride properly
they always try to boost your ...- Read Guest's review (188 words)

I have been at Godley Stud Tameside for almost 2 years and I've had a great pleasure with it.
The only thing that went wrong was the horse tried to run off with me.
At Godley the instructor has been a great help and basically taught me to ride and now I'm hoping to not be scared. Before I was a nervous rider but whatever the instructor puts me on I will ride it without any fuss :P
At the moment I am riding a horse called Steffi.
I am having a really good time at Godley and I hope you do.
Thanks ...- Read Guest's review (123 words)

I Have Been At Godley Riding School For About 4 Years And I Have Had a Great Time And Experience There. There Are Fun Things To Do.
I.e Stable Management ,, Own A Pony Week ,, Shows :D ,, When I First Came To Godley I Got A Bong With Muzzie And I Rode Him And Brushed Him He Was Well Behaved.
If I Would Go To A Riding School Then I Would Say It Would Be Godley ,,

Godley Riding School is a great place to learn how to ride and I found all of the instructors and lead reiners really friendly :) As well as learning to ride you can learn stable management skills and get to know the horses in and out of the saddle.
I love going to Godley and can honestly say i've never had a bad experience there. It's well worth the money!
Overall a great riding school. Everybody is really friendly and you can learn so much. If you want somewhere with friendly instructors and ...- Read nicolefahy's review (100 words)

I rode at Godley Stud for around 2 months and liked how nice the teachers were.
BUT the reason I stopped going though was because they don ' t have the same level of experience in classes. I have rode at other riding schools in the past so was quite experienced but they put me in classes with small children who were lead around by grooms. I didn ' t like it because I could hardly ever canter and when I did it was only at the end of my lesson!!! I am now at Croft End and its much better because ...- Read henglish's review (126 words)

The cleanliness, in my opinion needs improving at Godley Stud in Tameside. There are large paddocks and both indoor and outdoor paddocks which is great for all weather conditions. Apart from the tidiness there are no other bad points and i love going to this riding school.- Read Guest's review (47 words)

Excellent after-school and holiday activities i.e. shows, Own A Pony Weeks and ride outs. Amazing bridle paths, and really good lessons in the large out-door paddock or a smaller in-door paddock for bad weather. I have been riding there for four years and I am now competing in show and jumping small jumps.- Read Emma Bowker's review (82 words)
