Good Points: Excellent Service.

Bad Points: None that I have found.

General comments: For some months now I have been receiving a newsletter from a gardening website: www.gonegardening.com. I have no idea where this came from in the first place, but I have found it very interesting and useful. I get regular updates on their latest special offers - some of which have been most welcome. There is also the link to their website of course and, for a gardener, this is even more useful as it is like taking a trip to a large garden centre - without the hassle of having to leave home - or contend with other shoppers once you get there.

There are all the usual departments - and better stocked than a lot of places I have visited. The 'garden' department caters not only for plants of all types, but also all the equipment you need to care for them, plant them, prune them etc... There is also garden furniture such as bird baths, trellises, seats, sheds and all manner of things that you could possibly need.

There is also a department called Yellow Petals, which is for cut flowers and arrangements. This has a section for flower care and a news items by the Yellow Petal Team. Flowers are usually delivered the same day - six days a week.

Gone Walkies - is the pet department - had you guessed? As with most pet departments you can buy pet food, toys, cages/homes and gifts. Here you get information on pet care and news by the Gone Walkies Team.

Shopping on the site is very easy - much as other sites you 'load' things into your basket then take it to the secure checkout. Delivery is very good - three to five working days. There is also no charge for delivery - the price shown is the price you pay. I can see no 'hidden' charges either, as the prices seem to be the same and sometimes cheaper than those in the shops.

On a recent newsletter, I found something I had been looking for. For some time I had needed an extending tree lopper. I have one - but it no longer extends. The one they showed was also on special offer, having been reduced by approximately £10, and including a free gift of three pairs of gardening gloves in varying weights - very useful! I ordered this and, true to their word, it arrived in the short time they stated. This was the week before Christmas - so there would have been a good excuse had it been delayed. It was extremely well packed - you could say wrapped up like a mummy really! Deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm on weekdays. Saturday delivery can be arranged but for this there will be a charge.

Would I recommend this website? Definitely - I will certainly use it again. If you do visit - be sure to sign up for the newsletter as well, or you will miss some fantastic bargains!
