    A good range of items. However, items shown as in stock on the website are not necessarily in stock meaning I am still waiting nearly 2 weeks later for some door handles. Customer service noted that the website is not live, ie not linked to their current inventory.... I can't comment on quality of the items since I have not received the items yet.

    I ordered a greenhouse off DIYTOOLS.CO.UK and there was no problem with delivery. When I installed it I noticed a part was missing I reported this and within days the missing part was sent to me. I have used diytools before and I have never had a problem certainly with communication. They are based in LIverpool (based on their accents) and are very friendly.

    do not use diy tools, unless you like not having replys to your email's dont take my word for it. just find a review on them, i always check before i buy but just for once i thought i trust a company without a perfect record and it just goes to show the 20 negative ones out of 70, makes them a useless company, any bussiness i can help turn away might make them get there act together.

    Ordered shower head @ rail from DIY Tools, arrived damaged phoned and e mailed told replacement would be sent and damaged one picked up still no sign of replacement never again with this firm!

    I ordered a power tool from DIY Tools and it arrived undamaged and well packed swiftly by fedex within 2 days for under £5 delivery charge, the price wasn't the cheapest online but i chose the shop since it was in liverpool and i know the business well, I haven't yet received my credit card statement but i have no reason to expect problems on that front, they offer google checkout and paypal for peace of mind but since i am familiar withe the bricks and mortar business i was happy to p ...

    After many troubles with getting DIY Tools to accept my natwest card I gave up. Rubbish.

    Nice website, quick delivery. Had pleaseant dealings with the
    DIY Tools staff and got my product very quickly.

    A lot of items listed on the website to purchase.. Don't use this site. It seems that some people have a positive experience and about half have a similar experience to me. The company needs to be brought to account. Very slow delivery and no information about delivery times. No contact from them and minimal response when I emailed them. After submitting my order, a few days later they phoned and asked for my address! This was filled in on the order form. I am still waiting for one item 7 weeks ...

    Ordered a circular saw and some blades - got a letter asking me to confirm the delivery address, did that....Phoned them up to check the next week, they said they'd send it to arrive the week after - a week later, still no sign of it even being sent, so I cancelled the order.

    This arrived in pieces from www.diytools.co.uk, they promised it would be picked up and replaced. 3 WEEKS LATER IT IS STILL SAT HERE! The phone rings and it seems as though they pick up and hang up immediately whenever I call. I have not received a call back. I am still waiting for a refund. I think the customer service is just appalling.

    A flashy website and competitive prices don't make up for poor customer services. On the last call I was kept waiting on the phone for over 5 minutes, and a month later still had no refund. There are plenty of other competitive tool suppliers out there.

    2 points for resolving some issues on non delivery
    Lost 8 points for unresolved issues and not replying to email correspondence, approx £350 of goods still outstanding.
    Ordered 05/01/2008 Today 28/01/2008.

    There are plenty of suppliers out there offering the same or similar products. If you want them delivered promptly, in full without hassle try them especially if the goods are business critical.
